Fourze Cosmic states had trouble against the Akumaizers, whereas Wizard Flame Dragon was able to hold all three of them off easily.

Even if you chalk that up to "Current Rider perk", I've never seen an ultimate form outclassed by a non-ultimate form like that. That'd be like if Agito Trinity outfought Kuuga Ultimate, or if Drive Type-Formula was stronger than Gaim Kiwami.

What do you think Decade does, anyway? Unlike other Riders, he doesn't have a permanent home, profession or primary enemy. Since he only appears in worlds in which he's needed, does that mean that once he's done with one conflict, he's immediately pulled into another word ad infinitum?

Anyway, Fourze backstory. The show was in it's planning stages during the earthquake of 2011. Japan was pretty devastated, and Toei realized that Fourze was going to be the first post-earthquake Rider show. So, naturally, the concept of Fourze became "a hero that could make everyone smile." I don't wanna go super in depth here because I dunno how much justice I could do it but here's a lot of thought they put into it in terms of making the kids happy again, it's a really touching story. I think it's best if you let the staff do the explaining though. They wrote about it here, it's definitely worth a read.:

I understand that there's the nostalgia factor but seriously, how cheap do you have to be to gather a bunch of nobodies, dress them up in cheap tights and arm them with nothing but kukris? These guys have the technology to create the DecaDriver, DienDriver, a giant space ship, the Mega-Reverse Machine, and Masked Riders 3 and 4, yet their mooks are a bunch of random nobodies in tights.

At least steal some of the mass-produced Rider technology, or Masquerade Memories from other shows. An army of RioTroopers and Kurokages would be better than this.

It's a quantity over quality thing. A large army of grunts can easily enslave the world. That is if Kamen Riders were out of the way.

Episode 4 of Wizard, this fucking Cat Sidhe Phantom is fucking amazing.

If the rest of this show is anything near as good as it's been for the first 4 episodes, I don't understand how anyone could dislike it.

Great Suits, Great fights, nice sound design, the Underworld concept is cool, I like that his bike-addon dragon actively rampages and doesn't want to listen to him (makes more sense than fucking Pirate Captain Ghost Iguana), Haruto actually seems to have a distinct character (kind of full of himself and smug, but knows what to do) and lots of the side characters are funny and great. (I know Cat Sidhe is going to die, but Pheonix seems likeable too). Even the girls seem cute (physically at least) and the Medusa suit is qt.

Only problems I see so far are Shunpei, and knowing its a 54 episode show.

All the Fourze talk recently made me want to watch it again. For some reason, I didn't like it very much when it first aired. I thought everyone was annoying, the opening theme was awful, and the designs of Fourze himself really put me off. Wasn't really feeling the highschool or "friendship is power!" themes, either.

Maybe it was a phase I was going through, because after having watched every single other Heisei series and a fair share of Showa, I really enjoyed the first few episodes. Maybe I'm just less cynical than I used to be and ready to have some fun.

Funnily enough, watching Fourze as it aired turned me off of toku for nearly 3 years. I didn't even start up Wizard because Fourze made me so mad though I don't even understand why. It could have something to do with the fact that while Fourze was airing and I was watching it weekly I was also catching up on other stuff like watching Kuuga, Agito, Ryuki and Blade all for the first time.

But I literally just finished my first rewatch of Fourze and I absolutely loved it this time.

I personally think the final 10 or so eps of Fourze were great. You had the Virgo reveal, Gemini Yuuki, Kengo's star child destiny and they brought back one of the cutest girls on the show to be Pisces which kinda plays backseat to Garren teasing a turn but that too was great..

He willingly gives away Infinity to Mayu knowing she'll give it to Fueki, a ring that he knows Fueki wants and is scared of and required Koyomi to die to spawn for him.
He was about to sacrifice all three of his mage friends without asking them, himself, and all the people of Tokyo until Fueki outright told him this is what was going to happen and he had a flashback to him turning into Wizard and finding Koyomi. Nitou was the only reason it didn't succeed.
Those are the ones that stand out. There's also Fueki being able to create an artificial Phantom for no reason that he can turn into that doesn't sap your mana or anything and you can control it, but he couldn't make one for Koyomi for whatever reason to body hop into. Oh, and Sora wanting to kill Fueki and start a Sabbath to turn human again because apparently having a form separate from your human one(Which still can feel mind you and you can turn into it at will)that is infinitely stronger at keeping you alive and is unable to die short of having a Rider try and kill you is better than a meatbag that will die from a bullet, particularly when your main goal in life is to kill girls to get your rocks off..

You're a kamen rider surrounded by your supporting characters, coop is available since non-rider support characters and secondary riders exist. You follow a plot HOPEFULLY based on the story of actual shows depending on which rider you choose to play as. But if you dont wanna follow the story you can just run around town and beat up monsters of the in-game day. It would be a 3rd person GTA kinda game but with beat-em-up combat and a comprehensive level/skill system for all of your forms including your human form so you can beat down baddies in your street clothes.
