It is entirely impossible to tell what that song is actually supposed to be until about 30 seconds in.
Bakuryu is still in.
But seriously, anyone else giggle a little at the fact that UX had a blue dragon combiner named Bakuryu, and BX had a blue dragon combiner named Bakuryu-Oh?
>Scratch that, it's not all male, Patricia's one of the options for the Gespenst.
They have to give you the HISSATSU GESPENST PUNCH somehow.
Remember how MP V2s were a thing in Alpha Gaiden, then when you go to the past everything Victory related is gone, but there are so many Hardyguns and their ilk that they don't even give you Jegans, then suddenly all of those are gone, meaning the only game that didn't give you Jegans WAS THE ONE WITH ALL THE CCA PLOT?
I do. Alpha series was a mess.
If you didn't take her route, you probably only got nine kills or something. If you did, getting Mazinger four kills is easy as shit and all you have to do to make sure they fight first is make her show up on your turn so Iunno what you did wrong either.
There's no reason to use the Qan[T]'s beam rifle in BX. It's 1-5 non-P, not affected by Melee+300 since it's not Melee, only goes up to 3850 at 10 upgrades so you need Gunfight to put it past 4000, and that's a fucking waste since they neglected to give Setsuna his giant fuckoff beam cannon that he had in UX. So you're better off using the Sword Bit, which is 2-7 and non-P and despite costing 20 EN that's not really a big deal considering EN regen (something like 20-30%).
>so Iunno what you did wrong either.
Neither do I. Oh, well. Life goes on.
Hey, look, the Dendoh kids are trying to be Combattler.
>It's 1-5 non-P
As someone who has played various games from older times, the fact that the 00s in BX have a 1-5 non-P Beam Rifle always makes me giggle.
But yeah, Sword Bits are the spam move for it. The GN Sword if not that, since it's not stuck at 1 range.
I liked putting Setsuna with Lorelai because the GN Sword would become 1-4, and their finisher ranges match up. Guess I can't do that this run!
Well, I'm still going to get the Jovians, Parallel!Suzune, Kamiyan, Hairsocks, Random Vagans, Puru-nee, BURN BURNINGS, Rhyneck, Not!Chirico, Great Jerk Stan, WOOP WOOP UFO GUY, and J will survive.
Keep him with the Carrier Beagle instead. The only wasted bonus is Melee going on the Beagle, but otherwise? Setsuna likes all the terrain bonuses, LOVES the extra EN (and the Resupply Regen on top of that), and no one says no to extra EXP, while Carrier Beagle likes crits (if only to raise its own damage issues) and more movement range and absolutely fucking needs that Space terrain unless you intend on glueing Gaogaigar to its ass.
I do believe this is one of the most recent series to be included in SRC thus far.
Yeah, I just need to go edit kill counts in a bit before I can use it.
This many mecha, to the point where I'm wondering if I've almost gotten all that the game has...and yet it still won't let me upgrade to GaoFighGar or Rabidlydog.
Ah, finally rolled the final 64 protagonist. Speaking of them, as you can see, it's business as usual for everyone's favorite 64 choice of MC.
Nothing shows off the intimidation of your mecha than naming it "Frank."
It can upgrade to Full Armor Govarion, I presume?
>dat PSYCHOOOOOOOOOOOO CROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSS finisher
I guess that's what this is, then.
>Theme song kicks in
>HITO WA DARE MO
Oh, I'm going to be hearing that for another several hours now.
You'd think there'd be more of these guys in here, given how long the series has gone on. Surely people have made the units so that the guy behind Robot Dungeon could easily transplant them.
Either way, I think chronologically, this is the most "recent" of Ultramen to be included in this SRC game.
Speaking of Tokusatsu heroes, here's another odd one out. Has size-changing abilities, too.
Is the fact that this guy eventually became cannon fodder in another future series just a little in-joke, or indicative of something darker?
Meh, whatever, here's Groizer.
Well, I think I've reached the point of no return, as my game's started making errors whenever I go to far with my usual 10-gatcha rolls, and said rolls are giving me the same units. So either I've bulked the file up to where it's imploding on itself, or I've just about reached the literal limit of units within the game.
Which seems odd since unless "Jefti" is the ZOE unit, I've not seen a ZOE unit. Said rolls also finally give me the last Ultraman, Apharmd The Hatter, the guy from Muv Luv, and a few more OGs.
Here's that powered-up Vilkis somebody was asking about.
Guy gets a lot of potential side equipment to switch around. Feel free to help me figure out the actual name of the unit, too.
Hey, don't go disrespecting Xabungle.
When you want to buy something, first it'll ask something that's 2 digits. What it's asking from you is your age. After that, input your credit card info as normal, then it wants you to make a password. Input that, then input it again. Done.
Here's Jehuty's first upgrade. I'm starting to be very careful and saving constantly for fear eventually the thing won't be able to open any menus or something.
I remember it because the [yuki] in [yukikaze] is the [-uki] or whatever for [fubuki].
Or something along those lines. Snowy weather names.
A snow wind is not a blizzard, however. A snow wind is a snow wind.
Yeah Rag has always been unlucky whenever I use her in the two SRW games she's in.
I think I must have literally attained every unit possible at this point. And still no way to upgrade Chirico or GaoGaiGar, dammit.
Anyway, here's the last Jehuty. He's Naked.
Crossbone was another set of units I ended up enjoying when I first came across them in G Generation. Pity the new one isn't going up to the era of Skull Heart or even F90.
Though I just wish we could get a new update of screens or a trailer, I want to see the game in action.
His artstyle really stands out. Some scenes must have been drawn all by himself. When he started his trademark "glowing eye and half darkened face"?
Interesting that they didn't split the choices evenly between F/Final mecha here. You only get four pilot options for the Grungust set, but the Huckebein gets...six, I believe.
Well, good to know transferring a save file from an older version to the latest version doesn't cause an implosion, at least not this time. The latest version lets you upgrade to Shin Getter for Armageddon Ryouma.
Rather funny about all the combo attacks that get tossed around between Getters and Mazingers despite the clash or lack of the right types of combos. Toei Shin Getter gets none, for example, and they let Shin Dragon pair with Neo's Shin Getter for some combos.
I think I'm too nice to be the kind of dom she'd want the guy to be at certain times in the relationship. She's really, really hot, though, and if she wanted regular non-S&M sex I wouldn't turn her down.
Pretty nice in that she has a post-movement Map, I believe, in a similar range to the Rolling Buster Rifle Map in Z2, but I kept forgetting that it was a map and would end up targeting allies with it as well.
Everything pretty much does. This game is a bit like looking into an example of what it would be like had certain characters debuted in the early days of SRW, where range was low, and Combattler-type machines got 3 pages of attacks.
Still, it's fun and quaint, and judging by the fact that I have over 500 pictures in a folder dedicated to unit screenshots, I may have developed a problem with it.
And speaking of units who are better in SRW than in SRC...
Relatively speaking, for ranged units I kind of say it mostly evens out - a range of 5 basically equals the range of 7-8 in a "modern" SRW
The ones who get screwed are melee units that don't at least get a 1-2 P somewhere because having a minimum range of 2 means you can increase it with Range Parts, but being "1 Range Man" means you're kinda screwed
Then new outfits for Kusuha and Bullet.
And maybe DGG4.
I was a little surprised at how long it took me to find this guy. I really wonder if some things are just set to be rarer in the RNG than others.
Well, Southern Cross isn't wowing me. Sure it can transform and Jeanne can fight on foot, but still...
All the ones the game has available. Shin Dragon, the Armageddon, Toei, and Shin vs. Neo versions of Shin Getter, Getter Go and its super form, Getter Rekka, Getter Arc, and New Getter.
Shit guess I forgot about that, guess we'll get our playable Amara after all. Along with some overpowered Masoukishins.
Hello again, everyone, just letting your savior drop in to say greetings.
As much as I want my girl Rosaly in OG I'm sure they'll never put her or the other chracters in since the game's already pretty bloated with characters already without the other hundreds of MK characters.
The 4 elemental robots plus Shu and his bitches is the best we'll ever get.
Post your face when this thing makes it in OG instead of your favorite MK character.
I must be missing something
Candidate for worst (component?) unit?
if I have to hear that voice then I would bench just like I did in the MK series.
Eventually it comes together and makes this, I believe.
One has EN Regen, the other has HP Regen.
Toei Getter also has an extra ability, but I need help figuring out what it is. I want to say it's some kind of HP drain or something, but...
Lot of franchises out there.
And technically, there's FOUR Shin Getter 1s. "New" Getter is a "Shin" Getter, hurrah for name puns.
I think what this does is a percent chance to turn damage taken into damage absorbed instead.
(The three attack types at the bottom is what kind of attacks WON'T trigger it, essentially melee attacks)
They got like 3405 characters but jut focus on a few.
What's the point of Rio and Ryoto besides being just grunts at this point? Let Kyosuke rest and put someone else on the spotlight together with the newcomers with their plots.
If I'm reading that right, it's a 12% chance to recover damage (probably damage dealt, not taken) as HP. Looks like the second line is listing certain types of attacks that it doesn't work with.
>tfw you miss out on a late game secret despite thinking you had hit all the requirements
Fuck you Ryofu
I am a dumb /vg/ nigger who was told you guys would have links to the 3ds SRW games. I really liked the translation patch of SRW J I played on GBA.
I did look through several of your pastebins but did not see any links.
>SRW UX (3DS): No summaries, translations, or LPs.
>SRW BX (3DS): 1 LP
But Kyosuke hasn't had any relevance since ACE and he barely has a role in 2nd.
The only time he's getting any spotlight is if Beowulf strikes in OG3 and Kyosuke, Excellen, Axel, and Alfimi get upgrades.
"The spirits came back"
Just use it as an excuse to make Cybastard weaker for early game and then late game it gets powered back up to what it would normally have in OG, plus Posession and whatever other goodies it got in Masoukishin 2 through F
>whatever other goodies it got in Masoukishin 2 through F
It got some pretty cool shit, too. Masaki learned how to do some crazy things with a sword.
But the best thing it got was
Elemental of Wind.
I'll repost them here, because I am sure there are a few others from /vg/hbg lurking as well after the anon tipped us off:
Since I'm still on an obsessive screen-collecting project here, does anyone have a favorite Brave aside from Dagwon and Fighbird, that I've already showed off? Just looking to see if there was one I should start showing off the pieces/forms of first if anyone cared.
It happened in Impact too, mate. They're not going to let you control a completely invincible robot.
Did you ever show off Great Might Gaine Perfect Mode?
I know you didn't do Great Da Garn GX.
I saw Daiteioh in one of those shots, I don't think he's posted any though?
I can get a lot of stuff having B air since they were A air S ground before, but B air and A ground now, but Valsione and fucking Wildwurger having Bs in the air is just really dumb
Might Gaine and his components it is. And yeah, the Eldorans are in, I really had to jump through some menu hoops to properly get Great Ganbaruger to show up.
Did I not show off any Eldorans? I could have swore I did. Daiteioh isn't in the game, though.
No problem, I'll show it off at a later date along with the other Eldorans.
The thing with 2nd OGs is that there are more stages than normal that require flight or Water as a movement type. 2nd OGs doesn't have "severely-accelerated bases + higher upgrade rate" on most enemies besides bosses, so B+S=A works fine if you have enough Mobility and Targetting upgrades.
I'm not saying it's not manageable from a game mechanics perspective, but considering the mechs themselves it's dumb. Dygenguar having a B in the Air? Sure, I'm actually not totally sure why it can fly in the first place. But out of all the terrain rank nerfs Valsione and Wildwurger losing their air ranks just really sticks out.
>Flight isn't a gameplay mechanic in the MK games.
and yet there is like 4 underwater stages across THE ENTIRE SERIES
where everything but water elementals get nerfed movement range (like 1/2)
I get what you mean. It's cool, dood. Although for the Wurger I'm still sore about the 6 movement and no Dash skill. I really, really hope 3rd OGs has that.
I'm glad it's early in CotE. I would fucking hate having to fight giants or 5-digit Magooki underwater.
>I'm actually not totally sure why it can fly in the first place.
Powerful Tesla Drives, same as everything else. It just doesn't have the SRX's obvious "we have a unit that is nothing but a bunch of Tesla Drives" thing, so it's less noticeable.
And now we start Da Garn's time.
(What's the name of the last remaining Brave? Burn Garn?)
I wonder if anyone actually achieved this particular Upgrade criteria without cheating
None of those have S Ranks in every terrain, are SS, reach over 200 Mobility with a Dodge+ ability, and hit like a goddamn truck. And before someone says Blade, no, with Pegas he's S size, not SS.
>Daiteioh isn't in the game, though.
Could have sworn I saw its distinctive spherical blue gem head.
Baan Gaan, the Saint of Braves.
>None of those have S Ranks in every terrain, are SS, reach over 200 Mobility with a Dodge+ ability, and hit like a goddamn truck. And before someone says Blade, no, with Pegas he's S size, not SS.
But they are all invincible
Sibil's an odd duck though, and you have to pump her Evasion to make her Mobility climb like that.
It could also be them representing something from the show - Tobikage lost all of like one fight in the whole show, and that was to Zerokage and was ENTIRELY LUCK BASED, but there was a loss in competence when Joe started piloting it.
To the anon who wanted Great Ganbaruger.
Seems like he'd be pretty decent, what with looking to have decent finisher power on that last move and having some actual options for long-range attacks if things are sniping at him.
Appreciated. Haven't read about anything about Fafner in a while, my moon can only make guesswork until someone corrects me.
No, I can think of a better reason then "lol they're not really gone".
OG3rd will probably cover Balmar stuff because shit, they aren't really going to wait until a 4th game to wrap this up, are they?
Make it so that when they reach Balmar, they find and receive the blessing of that planet's elements, in hopes of defeating Kaiser Ephes.
Same as you'd expect, though he may have had less attacks and a higher morale requirement for Godmars than in this pic, since this is post-upgrade and I didn't take a pre-upgrade pic.
(Said requirements for Godmars is...100 Morale. Or going below a quarter health.)
>they aren't really going to wait until a 4th game to wrap this up, are they?
Unless the game is Impact-tier long or the moon decides to move with them, I'm not sure how they can cover J and @3 in one game.
Unless J's plot is finished like only a third of the way into the game.
They do exactly what @3 did and wander back to Earth for a little bit in there before heading back out to settle things with the Balmerians. Easy.
...it's been way too long since I played @3, what was the excuse for that shit again?
J's plot is fucking minute, man, don't let the large glut of OG stages tacked onto the end fool you. It'd take at most ten stages to cover J's plot, and most of that can be mixed with other series. GC's much the same way.
Speaking of, kind of surprised actually that GC's OGs aren't in here as well, considering SRC gives you pretty much every OG character from F going to the first Z. Especially given they give you Neo's protag.
>...it's been way too long since I played @3, what was the excuse for that shit again?
Stopping Instrumentality is kinda important man.
Oh and a nuclear war which started while they were away.
They said that they didn't make Z's plot with OG in mind. You know, like every game before Alpha 2.
And before you be all stupid again and assume that means Z is never getting into OG, you know how sometimes games have obvious OG stand-ins for stuff like OE's Mucus = STMC? Basically they didn't write Z with any stuff like that in mind.
Not really. Z was pretty light on the OG plot until Tengoku, and unless they go full retard and leave it all exactly the same with absolutely zero changes it's not that hard to compress all that.
Looking this one up, I realize EVOL is another series that's been featured in SRW but has yet to show up in SRC. Well, there's always future updates.
Kinda figures that it takes a machine known for having extendable arms to give it a decent number of attacks with range, huh?
It just means it has a crap-ton of special properties. Uses Prana, something to do with counter-cut, inflicts status if you critical, knockback, lowers enemy morale by 10, some other stuff.
Kind of underwhelming compared to King Scassher from what I've seen...but then again, I've not heard many positive things towards "Lamune & 40 Fire," so I guess it fits.
When it comes to re-using the Masoukishin, I have an idea for it,
have Asakimactually manifest in OG universe inside Masaki, and that, whenever Masaki uses Cybuster, it turns black, and Asakim takes over Masaki during fights.
When it comes to using Z in OG, again, go wti this:
OG's version of Z1's plot being the Portal Stone from Project X Zone being the stand-in for the Space-Time Oscillation Bomb (Super Dimension Century Orguss) with the following being OG ZEUTH Dimension:
1. Main universe where the Shinra Organization (Namco X Capcom), Kogoro, and Mii hail from.
2. Main OG universe (GC introduced here with male MC used)
3. OG Shadow-Mirror Universe
4. Endless Frontier
For OG ZEXIS, the following:
1. Cybuster anime universe
2. Gakuen, GC with female MC, L, K, and W's universe
3. UX's universe
Not sure how to handle Z3 yet.
>all 1 range
>that portrait my god
Oh wow. I know it wasn't really a good show but it doesn't deserve that.
Plus they forgot that bow and arrow it had once, even ACE remembered that one
I don't think you understand how to use 'mfw' because if you did this would be it.
>yfw you have become hissatsu
>the original Valvrave
It was just a retarded, oversexed sci-fi OVA series. There's like a billion of these from the 80s/90s.
It's just more jarring because it happened to be part of a franchise that started as kid-oriented zany comedy in a fantasy world, until an absolutely batshit genre shift that happened in the last quarter of Fire.
I still have no idea why Arnie went nucking futs in that timeskip. Maybe he tried to snort Festum remains or something.
Chuunibyou/Second-year delusion. Basically about how middle-schoolers, bored of their lives through the arrival of puberty, start fantasizing about secretely being fantasy characters and try to act as what they percieve as "cool".
And then, like weeaboo went from "wants to be japanese" to "japanese", the definition devolved from describing those youngsters to the actual fictional characters they were trying to imitate.
They should have used the manga incarnation instead. You'd think they would pay attention to one of Yoshizaki's earlier non-Keroro works.
>it happened to be part of a franchise that started as kid-oriented
>until an absolutely batshit genre shift that happened
Kinda sounds like what happened to GGG. But really, having a staffer from the La Blue Girl working on Lamune was a stupid idea (I pity Akahori for most likely having to put up with him).
Do they even need to show the penguins?
They can only show their faces in portraits and mention the tail in the dialogue. It works and it would disappoint the few fans but that's it.
Hentai and mechs aren't mutually exclusive, you know
>I still have no idea why Arnie went nucking futs in that timeskip
When you spend most of your time around Saya, your blood will be as hot as ever.
Also, >You seem to have mistyped the CAPTCHA
Like shit I did.
>like that hilarious Gundam SEED look-alike one.
Kangoku Senkan or Ryojoku Guerilla Kari? Speaking of which, we need a Kangoku Senkan anime that's not all blurry and shaky-cam. What the actual fuck, man.
>Tsukumo introducing himself as a member of the Jovian-Vegan military in BX
Holy shit, I never thought I'd see anything beat Gunbuster in the "terms using unnecessarily long strings of kanji" department.
Most people got their start in the hentai industry, I know for a fact that the Aldnoah Zero director started off storyboarding a hentai. (pic related)
Then you have some weirder stuff like prolific seiyuu who have already made their name and do a eroge/hentai for some reason. Wakamoto, Sugita, Midorikawa amongst others.
>Jigen hadō chōgen reiki shukutai hankei chōyaku jūryokuha chōkōsoku kōsō
>Dimensional wave superstring extension degeneration radial jumping gravitational wave faster than light travel
Basically just super long for JIGGY HA OH YOU ASSPULL space jump.
>Then you have some weirder stuff like prolific seiyuu who have already made their name and do a eroge/hentai for some reason.
>tfw I heard 17-san's voice coming out of a big-chested maid in a decently recent hentai
Yeah, it's always a little trippy to me when I recognize a voice coming out of these things. Especially if it's not some old porn they did before they were well-known.
Yep. In actual fact whilst we're on this subject the character/s pictured there was even voiced by Yousuke Akimoto himself (Master Asia, Alberto the Shockwave, Master Asia, Siegel Clyne) but I don't believe he was officially he was officially credited.
A lot of the other staff involved in that also went on to work on a lot of the Tenchi Muyo spinoffs as well.
No kidding, it has the very same problems as Aldnoa, I was serious when I said that I did in fact understand quite a lot.
And Sex Demon Queen was pretty decent back in the days anyway, so that's kind of a good suggestion.
Man, the Anaruski/Onaruski bros are some of my favorite comedic relief characters ever, imagine my face when I heard Akimoto's voice.
>tfw I heard 17-san's voice coming out of a big-chested maid in a decently recent hentai
I know she voiced the lead in Tsumamigui a older hentai so I wouldn't be surprised, what was the name of the series?
It's this one right? Was a odd one, obviously low budget since it had virtually no sound or music but strangely well animated.
>but strangely well animated.
It's the blessing of Mogudan.
Are you serious? Mogudan was working on it? I thought he was still in his TEH REI and NICE AND TOO THICK phase.
>Mogudan was working on it?
He designed the maid, it's pretty evident since she's a blonde Rei clone and has exactly the same body he uses with all his Rei clones, I don't know if he was involved into anything other than that though.
I mean, look at the nipples in the image here>>13740676 those are Mogudan's trademark.
UNHAND THAT LADY NOW!
It's entirely possible, but it sure as heck sounds like her, maybe the credits used a pseudonym? Wasn't she embarrassed of her earlier hentai voice acting anyway?
In any case, >>13740676 is the one I was talking about, yes. Better than the similar-style one I've seen about a mother and daughter with similar endowments,
mostly because more than just paizuri is involved, delicious as paizuri might be.
Ah, this is more like it, I knew I remembered her having more attacks. Interesting to have a mechanic where the machine gets more attacks based on the pilot's level.
>I don't know if he was involved into anything other than that though.
I can believe that, he hasn't worked on any animation since Scrapped Princess. The last animated thing he worked on at all was Bakunyuu Maid Kari and he didn't even do the adaptations just lent his character designs. The one who actually adapted and directed it I believe was Yoshiten of Bible Black, Futabu, Boku no Pico, Cambrian fame.
>It's entirely possible, but it sure as heck sounds like her, maybe the credits used a pseudonym? Wasn't she embarrassed of her earlier hentai voice acting anyway?
Doesn't seem like it since she actually has other roles in Maria Holic, Koihime and Annerose.
Fuck... you're right, he worked with Yoshiten.
Hmm. Then I guess it's just somebody who does a remarkably good imitation. Weird, I thought her voice was fairly distinct enough that it was clearly her.
Eh, either way, still a good hentai, and I'm pretty picky about actual animated hentai.
>Then you have some weirder stuff like prolific seiyuu who have already made their name and do a eroge/hentai for some reason. Wakamoto, Sugita, Midorikawa amongst others.
Zechs banged Shagia in /m/'s favorite gay mecha hentai.
>I'm not at all ashamed of being a futafag.
Neither am I
>Eh, either way, still a good hentai, and I'm pretty picky about actual animated hentai.
Then you should check out almost anything these two guys have worked on. They're actually pretty good compared to most in that their shows tend to look good.
Truth be told I think hentai anime is going to just straight up die out in the next few years or so. There just isn't a industry or the distribution channels for it to exist anymore. About only studios who even put out half decent stuff anymore are Pink Pineapple and T-Rex.
Plus with how risque mainstream series get now stuff like Valkyrie Drive and Shinmai Maou have the softcore covered.
>Interesting to have a mechanic where the machine gets more attacks based on the pilot's level.
All the 64 units had that in their original ga-
Wait, maybe that's why Super Earthgain didn't have its MAP?
Might have to consider looking into it, though often times any animated hentai just tends to feel off to me, and that's not getting into how much of a picky ass I can be about content whether I want to be or not.
As for it dying out, well...time will tell, eh? You've got some good points though.
I just edited everyone's levels to 99, so I'll have to figure where I deposited Super Earthgain and dig him out to check.
In the meantime, any Brave fans want to correct my random kanji assumption for this Goldran component?
>Not IRL, but futas in animu porns are totally okay.
FukuJun voiced a canon futa, does that count?
He has actually voiced the main character in a straight up yaoi hentai as recent as 2007 so there is that too.
Well, what do you know, Matt, you were right. Man, between hidden frame-switching in item menus, level-based move lists, variable combo attacks, and the inability to get Chirico and GaoGaiGar's last upgrades, it's like the game is actively resisting my obsessive attempts at archiving pics of its units.
Doesn't make Super Earthgain that much more usable though, does it?
It's Sorakage, yes.
A unit with no range and a MAP is superior to a unit with no range and no MAP no matter how you slice it.
Should probably check Earthgain though, if you ever get a chance. Maybe Vyrose too? I forget if that one had a MAP.
No matter what happens, Z-O Scythe will always be Dis's only P move.
I like that they gave the crossed-swords lightning thing as its own attack. Of course, it has the same range problems as anything else Dunbine-related, but at least it isn't Sirbine.
I don't think there's pilot switching outside of a few specific machines, and getting the unit you want is pretty much left up to chance with a little bit of potential influence through items you can by in the shop. That effects the stage-related recruitment, though, not the Gatcha.
(It's possible you could give yourself units through force via save-file editing, but I have no clue how that would work out. I couldn't duplicate items in save editing either, so I just stick to kills and level editing.)
He probably just hasn't purchased the upgrade yet.
Ah, well, that's better somewhat.
Do you have to purchase an upgrade for Daltanius to get its second-half moves?
Despair in that the only game that lets you play as Min in SRW thus far is MX, and she only joins pretty damn late in that one.
Since Dragonar is in your SRWE cast list, you're going to make her recruitable along
Douglas in the Dragoon and Gellpock's squad? Probably the latter is impossible but I liked them.
>Do you have to purchase an upgrade for Daltanius to get its second-half moves?
I believe so, yeah. I know Daltanius has an upgrade that you can buy, I just don't have a comparison picture to show whether it unlocks more than just the final super-sword-strike move.
I forgot to take a Valzacard pic, but here's Banpreios, before you equip the R-Gun.
>Douglas in the Dragoon and Gellpock's squad?
I'd really like to, but I'm stretching my deploy limits as it is, the most you can compress a lategame squad to at this point is like 70 units and only 60 will be deployable on the last stage (since 20 slots + 3 man squad system, though none of this counts battleships since they're their own thing). And Dragonar has a lot of people from it that will be playable with just the main three and Meio's squad.
I might fit in Douglas, depends on how things go. I still have to rewatch the show and finalize everything from it, after all. If he does go in, he'll probably end up joining with Sleggar in the "we were fighting rogue Federation people in an island off South America, so we'll join up with you after Jaburo
and if you can catch what series it's in reference to and what that implies for the sequels, good for you, but it's meant to be secret".
Min's in though. Can't let the chainsaw mech go to waste.
If I had to guess? It unlocks Chain Slicer, Cannon Cubic, Kaen Attack Kaen Juumonji Giri, and maybe that Daltanius Shine Spark thing. (Choukuukan Energy Release, or something like that?)
It must be. You don't even unlock Aria until after upgrading Valguard to Valzacard, and you don't see anything of her mech, she's just an extra sub-pilot. Kind of like how buying Big O's upgrade grants Dorothy as a sub-pilot, or the Gundam X upgrades giving you Tifa and Para.
Even if half of them have no uses, I like how SRC goes a bit back to the classic days of really piling on the list of moves. I didn't know Dragonar units had that many weapons.
Pity they don't include ally versions of enemy mecha so that Twin Blade was a viable option to have.
>I didn't know Dragonar units had that many weapons.
They're based on the original Gundam, and if you actually look at the list of shit the Gundam used, you'd probably be amazed at how long it was.
I know some people were pointing out this guy in the last thread (or was it earlier in this thread?). Though even as a ship, which are already pretty hit and miss on usefulness, he doesn't seem that great...
It's literally the original Gundam, except the MC units are different, the atmosphere is typically much lighter, it suddenly branches off into a totally different show for one arc, and the role of Char has been replaced by Meio Plato in his onscreen debut.
Well, here's something that doesn't lack for range, at least.
Dragonar is basically a test to see if people were tired of the Gundam brand. They aired it right after ZZ and checked which one was more successful. Gundam won, and that's the main reason we don't have Dragonar SEED.
Outside of certain variations, comparison pictures between upgraded and non-upgraded versions for a number of units, and component pieces (which I'm unlikely to do since even I'm not quite that obsessive and nobody here would care about seeing those), I think I'm actually nearing the limit. I think I've just about snapped pictures of pretty much every completed mech in-game.
(Also, Matt will be happy to know that the level editing fixed his issue with ZINV's finisher not exactly being stellar.)
But I remember reading Layzner had consistently higher ratings than Zeta.
I don't know why Layzer was canceled and considered a failure if it did much better on TV. maybe the problem was toy sales.
Just Banagher and Puru-neesan.
>Their sponsor went bankrupt
That is untrue the sponsor was Sanyo.
Though Sanyo did pretty much die it was much later around 2009 when Panasonic bought them out and gutted them. Their real downfall was supporting the HD-DVD format instead of Sony's Blu-Ray and we saw how that format war turned out.
>But I remember reading Layzner had consistently higher ratings than Zeta.
Layzner was effectively the winner of the test to create a new successor to the Gundam franchise. Notice all three series Layzner, Dragonar and ZZ Gundam all came out with the same timeframe almost one after another in 3 years successively. Then the whole scandal happened and funding died so it died horribly.
On Atreem K is actually liked by more than five people.
Interesting how the data for source contains things that don't mesh with what the game actually has. I suppose it's a by-product of the guy behind it mostly transplanting stuff wholesale from the community.
For example, Grendizer seems to have data for the different Spacer forms despite none of them being in, Rom has his combo attacks with Jet and Drill despite them not being in, Love Love Tenkyoken but no Rain in the Rising/Shining Gundam, etc.
Now if I could just figure out how to bypass whatever quirk is keeping me from Genesic GaoGaiGar.
In a better world, licenses weren't so expensive and this guy showed up more often.
SRC. There's a pastebin for it up top that should be able to get you started.
I still find it humorous when I remember that I read that Daltanius was supposed to be Voltron, but when somebody asked for the episodes from the robot show "with the lion," there was a mixup and Golion got sent instead of Daltanius.
Also, Daltanius has a strangely catchy theme song of its own.
Click View Source or click on History and click the previous entry. Either way, you'll find all the info you'll need.
I'm so fucking tired of hearing this. Can we just put the solution in the OP or something.
Someone sprited a bunch of YGO stuff in the community data pack, seriously.
Actually, there's a whole bunch of human not-M at all stuff that gets sprited for SRC and it's just bizarre - I can't think of any scenario where you might need a sprite of Jason or Steven Seagal but they sure exist
5 minutes in Paint later...
Yup, you're right, not sure how I missed it. Here you go.
I suppose it's because I only ever saw Jin in Marvel vs. Capcom, but I didn't know Blodia had alternate forms.
You know, I never was paying attention to that picture, but I guess it must be something alternate, if it's not a coloring mistake, since it ain't pink.
I just had it there because you can switch between it and the Lady Command, and I think the better choice is obvious. But there you go, a new option for SRW FIRST, eh?
I wonder if this gal's eligible for a SRW OGs appearance.
>But there you go, a new option for SRW FIRST, eh?
Oh no, Q and Miyuki were first draft secrets. Like, back when the cast list contained maybe half the things it does now tier first draft.
