Gunpla / Plamo General

***READ THE GUIDE***
For those new to gunpla/plamo or even just new to this thread; please read the guide. Please read it before asking questions as there is a chance it has already been answered there.
For those unfamiliar, "plamo" is a shortened form of "plastic model". If it's made of plastic, someone can probably help you here.
If you're new, you're gonna fuck up. Don't worry! If you're experienced, don't make the new people worry!
>Why won't anyone answer my question?
Try being specific, especially about your materials and process. Post pictures whenever possible; even if the kit/part looks bad, you are more likely to get help posting pictures.

Our next Group Build!
Basically what this means is that rather than the mobile suit being fresh out of a factory, it's quite the opposite. Whether it's trudging through dense jungles or dodging debris in asteroid belts, your mobile suit has seen some better days.
You've been out in the field for quite a long time now, nearly half a year of active duty in the front lines and your personal mobile suit's pretty banged up. What's worse is the fact that there isn't a maintenance bay within several thousand kilometers of your local area that's capable of making any major repairs. Your unit's engineering crew has resorted to patch work and jury-rigging to keep your machine operational. Stray fire might have crippled its legs and arms or otherwise dealt considerable damage to a mobile suit's systems meanwhile some units have simply lost bits of armor and panels to the elements and have been forced to patch weld metal sheets over the exposed inner workings.
In any case it's beaten to hell but somehow you and your team have somehow kept it chugging along and now command's ordered all units operating in your theatre to fall back to form a defensive line against the enemy offensive.
Deadline: March 7

Nah a ton of other companies do it too, pic related is from Model Comprehend
Can somebody direct me to something that is under £20 that has this aesthetic?
I got some decent answers before but want to see what you all think
Check out maschinen krieger
Nah most of the non-MG SEED kits were not the best, just go for the 1/100 Dragon Momoko Akatsuki. It might be third party but it beats out the HG by a long shit.
The only HG SEED kits you should be grabbing aside from the HGCE stuff are the Stargazer kits, the Daggers, the Murasame, and any of the new kits made during the SEED Remaster's airing (M1 Astray, LaGowe, the newer Red/Blue/Gold frames).
The truth is you're not gonna find any kit that gritty straight out of the box, especially for under 20 bongdollars. If you're looking for something kinda blocky maybe the Thunderbolt GM would be up your alley?
This might work for him.
I think he likes the blocky/ trashcan look
Thanks OP for using my gundam for the header pic! What an honor, this has made my day
Here's my HG GP-02 I finished yesterday i painted a good amount of the panels black and the crest yellow cause i felt there was way to much grey, also a total bitch to pose so i didn't put much effort into that.
how do I get as good as this guy when it comes to painting and weathering my gunpla? My Zaku doesn't look anything like that despite using the same paints this guy uses
is it just an art skill that you acquire after years of building gunpla? Or is it like drawing/painting and only a select few can make it look fantastic
doesn't really matter if you have the same paints. it's kind of like having the mindset that if you have the same paints as an artist you should be able to paint like them.
art and gunpla are the same in that they take practice. neither has anything to do with innate talent
Does anyone have a finished hguc Tryon 3 that they can take some pictures of? I think it's a pretty cool looking mech, but I've heard that the quality (especially the lion on the chest) is questionable at best and the pics I've seen on various retail sites don't do a very good of showing off the model.
>decide to step my game up and look at cameras
>one of the random recommend cameras on Amazon is $950
>prices range from $700 to $2999 for SLR cameras
How the fuck do you queermos afford this kind of shit?
Or go Payday 2 on an electronics store at a mall.
A point n shoot really oughta suffice for all gunpla pics.
Just remember, turn on macro and never put your plamo dead center in the shot doing a limp dicked neutral stand.
WORK IT BABY.
MAKE IT BEAUTIFUL.
Not to discourage you, because I also like MGs and the GP line, but every damn one of the 0083 MGs are dated and terrible. If you HAVE to get any of them, the 02 at least looks big and intimidating, even if it is a brick.
I'd recommend the Geara Doga, it's the most current MP zeek MG. If you want a Zaku, grab one of the hi-mo variants.
>get gunpla after finishing all the Gundam series to date, largely because if I were to get a gunpla I would never get one from something I haven't seen, that's just stupid
>buy a few gunpla a few months ago
>don't have the money for the painting tools yet
>haven't bought sanding paper, files or gundam markers yet
>too scared to start building them because I don't want it to look bad like snapshit-kun's shit
>afraid I'll never build them and continue lurking /gpg/ and /toy/ for ages because i'm too scared i'll suck to start building
we all suck to begin with.
Pic related, my secret shame.
>Rich says "pic related, my worst work ever"
>mfw it's literally 60 trillion miles better then my best work
>for some reason
It's probably because you have the gay.
You see, that's the kind of shit that puts me down. People say "Look, my first build! What do you guys think?", or "This was my first one. It's terrible, right?", and i look torwards my two builds, and they're complete garbage compared to the image. Your image is actually a bit comparable to my second build, but it's still ages better than my first one.
This beauty came in today. I already peaked in the boxed and was a tad disappointed to see no inner frame like the 1/144 Barbatos had but I'm still very excited to assemble it. I'm gonna have a few hours of free time at school tomorrow before I get to work so I'm gonna build it then.
Some stuff like the guards above the red elbow points and the small "skirts" or whatever on the sides of the bottom of the legs falls off quite easily, at least on mine. Some things are stiff on it at first, wings doesn't move too much without falling off or feeling pretty loose, feels kind of frail because of all the shit that moves around on it, things pops out of place just a bit so you'll need to put them back again, and it can be tricky to get the gun to stay somewhat locked in its hand, since it doesn't have a peg, and only the thumb can be moved around.
Just problems I have with mine, for all I know I might've fucked it up while building though. It's beautiful anyhow.
the scopedog parts came from an old toy i got from nycc years ago. i snapped it in half, carved out the center so it would fit around the zaku's head then just glued it together and sanded down the seam. the scalp is still replaceable so its not a permanent mod to preserve the playablity.
Audrey is most likely still there. Don't you like lolis?
I don't know why but I like using arms for non-arm stuff
I would if I had it, it's been a while since I bought any new kits
>tfw you tell yourself you cant buy anymore figures or gunpla due to no room or having to fucking much
i still have 4 MGs in my backlog
Boo hoo, you didn't start as good as someone else. Might as well quit.
Get better. You know why Snapshit remains the useless cockend he is? Because he refuses to get better. Don't be Snapshit.
I need to think of better poses for this damn thing.
5 apparently, i forgot about Crossbone X1 since the box was so small.
Still have to build a:
Gelgoog 2.0 Mass Production type
but i'm waiting til i get bluetac for him to give his cloak a weighed down look.
Starting the Dom now since i fucking love Doms, though i dont know weither to leave all three normal for Black Tri-Star pics or i thought of painting the Rick-Dom to be Gatos "Nightmare of Solomon"
I'm not the dude who said he wanted to be good from the start. I understand that without practice, i'm not getting anywhere. That's why i still haven't quit. A Graze is coming my way, and i'm pretty sure this time it'll look somewhat presentable. But being the low-self-esteem beta male that i am, i can't help but feel a little disappointed in myself when i see those kinds of photos.
lately i've come to the realization that most people start out as shit as me, and the people who post first builds that are that beautiful are the exception, so i don't feel nearly as disappointed as i used to.
Finally got some watch batteries for the LED, now to find a second kit to put the other one in.
Amazing Levs are the most expensive little shits i've ever see. Fuck your book shipping, japan.
My Guncannon ended up with nub marks all over it because i, being a dumb shit, got a 100 grit sandpaper. As such, not only are there nub marks, but there are also nasty scratchy marks near some nubs. The 108 sticker ended up a bit croocked and looks like shit, and finally, i lost one antenna and broke the other one. Realizing that it looked like shit, i decided to cut directly next to the parts when i built the F91, which caused warping in some parts (thankfully, it's hard to notice from far away). Additionally, i might have gone overboard with the panel lining on the F91. At least the panel lining on the Guncannon looks half decent. I'd post pics, but the only camera i have is my cellphone cam, and it's the most potato camera you'll ever see in your life.
Still, i'll finally be getting tweezers, and x-acto knife and proper grit sandpaper for my upcoming Graze, so i've been feeling much more confident lately.
I just built the MG RX78-2 Ver 3.0
and god DAMN it is a sweet kit, some panels are a bit flimsy, because how is it set. also mutiple shades of panels make it downright amazing.
though I gotta buy the decals for it, I'd never stain it with stickers.
Also, i got distracted during the F91 build, so the fan blew the sticker sheet away and my dog stole most of the stickers. Thankfully, the F91 shoulder stickers were able to be salvaged, but i still lost a ton of stickers.
Gato had a scheme as his Solomon Dom appeared for 1 Level of a PS2 game. cant remember the name. Orginally i was going to paint the Gelgoog to be the Sleeves theme that only appeared for a moment. but i dont have a airbrush or the skill to paint the wrists
I feel you my first three ended up completely destroyed in the process of building/reckless playing with, two real grades snapped and crumbled and a high grade completely covered in paint (paint marker exploded)
ah yeah, looking back i think i will do the Gato Custom, i can just make the other 2 his squadmates from 83.
Against my better judgement i'll probly build all these sorry.
yeah i love what i've seen but i'll probly just stick to dry transfers and stickers since i still have bad memories from my MG Sinanju.
Cleaned up the head on this guy and filled in the red bits on the legs with putty. I might start painting this weekend but the weather + Oath of the Gatewatch prerelease might make that unlikely
>All my friends are dead
>All I see the mech's back
>Try to shoot at it
>Suddenly its head turns 180 degrees towards me and its arms bend in my direction
>The gun it was holding quickly locks on me and shoots a rocket in my direction
I have worse secret shames such as
>breaking the inner joint of an MG Zeta 2.0's waverider backpack during transformation
>losing a finger that I split when i wanted to split the trigger/3-finger one
>using an old toilet seat cover to put painted parts on and let dry
>denubbing small funnel parts when I had a cold and then a sneeze ends up with me slicing into my index finger
Fun times. But the whole thing is a long-ass learning process and you pick up stuff along the way so yeah.
Depends, do you enjoy playing with the people at your local game store? I hate pre-releases, always have bad luck there, but honestly this should be the question to ask yourself.
But man, March can't come fast enough. Muh Innistrad.
I was hoping for a return to Theros, but I'd be happy if Shadows Over Innistrad is better than Oath of the Gatewatch. There's only, like, three cards I care about in Oath. Then again, I wasn't too wowed by Innistrad the first go 'round. Eh, maybe I'll make a werewolf deck.
You can just vulture over the amazon prices. Don't give up. I snagged freshly released IBO kits for 5% off during the Black Friday Sale from HLJ last year and found a decent discount to the long range booster from banzai at that time too
I love how it is literally a familiar that can actually help it's owner without removing all his funnels and shield, unlike the vrabe booster
Anything in the plamo world that looks similar to this?
I don't know, I am very nervous about the extra stuff I added to it. I decided to do the outlines on the hips, the inner circles, and the back of the legs like how it's presented in the builders manual.
I don't know, I think it looks nice, but you can tell I did a little discoloration to the plastic because of ink clean up. I don't know, maybe I am looking too much into it.
I did barely little nub cleaning. I kind of realized I should've done it while making it but.. I didn't. Sadly. Might clean up some of the obvious ones on the outer parts, but this was maybe like the fourth one I've ever made really. Still trying to get the hang of it.
This is ground control to major Char, you're on an action base.
Try getting one of those nail files that has four different grains on em! They only last maybe a few kits depending on the grade but they're cheap and easy to find. N work on just about everything
>Why didn't you put on the stickers? Are you gonna paint it later?
I didn't really like the symbols that much. You hardly see them in the show anyways. NOTE: The sticker for the eye is not a foil, just saying.
There was a really old-timey one with that kid who had a Perfect Gundam. If i remember correctly, that was the main inspiration for Build Fighters, and it was why the Perfect Gundam popped up at the end of BF.
here's my scopedog zaku snapped up. stickers are placeholders until i paint. sanded down the nubs and sealed the seams on the forearms.
3 guesses as to the paintjob. also, if you dont own this kit or any zakus in general GET THIS KIT. It's an engineering wonder for a hg. damn near a complete inner frame, insane articulation and a shit ton of accessories. I cant wait to get the giant axe version.
Origin version HM Zaku II. Duh.
The "Giant Axe" part should have REALLY given it away.
Nah. The OLD Black Tri-Star Zakus are Zaku Is, but Origin said "Fucka dat noise."
What was your first presentable gunpla? As in, what was the first model kit that you built and felt confident enough in to think "yeah, i'm proud of this kit. I'd post it online/show it to other builders"?
don't you hate arriving late from work and having no energy to keep up with your gunpla?
whatever, I was sure I was going to be slow with this Nu
When my first kits come in the mail a week or so from now. I'll build a HG unpainted and untopcoated. I'll build the best god damn unpainted and untopcoated HGs anyone's ever SEEN.
What did you make with your money anon? I'd love to see!
>Still don't feel 100% proud of any of the kits I've done but I'll get there one day
You have to love your toys, anon. You should never feel any shame.
Snapfit, i'm gonna ask you a few questions, and i want you to answer them honestly.
What do you think of your builds? Do you think they are comparable to/as good as/better than properly sanded and painted kits?
How long have you been building? Do you enjoy building?
If so many people hate you, why do you keep posting?
And lastly, why do you think so many people hate you?
All those motherfucking nubs man...
can I please go to your house, rape your entire family while you watch, set fire to everything you own, cut off your fingers and keep all your gunpla for myself?
Paint by part and a shitload of masking
Also i dont paint parts that goes armor with
>What do you think of your builds? Do you think they are comparable to/as good as/better than properly sanded and painted kits?
Don't care, desu. Gunpla is a hobby. Everyone has different tastes. I don't compare my kits to anyone elses because the experience is different for everyone. I don't have anything to prove.
>How long have you been building? Do you enjoy building?
I starting building when I was 14/15 or so? I dropped MSIA for high grades. Building is my least favorite part because of all the effort it takes.
>If so many people hate you, why do you keep posting?
I seriously doubt I have more than a couple haters. I get hate mail on tumblr, but I really think it's the same group of people.
>And lastly, why do you think so many people hate you?
You can tell more about a person by what they say about others than what others say about them.
How can something with no face be so expressive?
>You have to love your toys, anon. You should never feel any shame.
this is why the snapfaggotry of snapfit-kun will never stop being shitpost.
thanks asshole for encouraging him more
I fundamentally disagree. You should always be trying to improve yourself. While you shouldn't feel ashamed so to say, but don't take pride on work that isn't your best. That is to say don't destroy or shun your old models, but use them as references on what you need to fix or improve.
Yes I know I'm taking the bait.
Eh I agree with his point sorta. I love all of the kits I've done for the fact of them being a learning experience (and fun to build/pose), but some just ended up being straight trash, . But I learn from my mistakes, if I didn't accept all of my gunpla have flaws ill never get better.
don't forget to report the shitposter for spam guys
let's make /gpg/ great again
I really don't think you deserve all the hate you get. I agree with many of your viewpoints, and maybe it's because i'm new, but every time i came here for help, you always did your best to help. When i complained about stickers, you were the first to point out that i was using the wrong kind of pincers, when i needed help choosing a good beginner kit you responded almost instantly with the Revive, and you gave out some pointers to a bootleg Moonlight Butterfly part in case i got the Turn A (although i don't think it looks very good, you did try to help, and i appreciate that). However, i can see why people are annoyed by you. Even if you intend to do good, you often send across the message that it's okay to be mediocre, or to stay at your current skill level. And that's fine and dandy, but by sending across that message, it will often seem that you are telling people to be mediocre, and that can stifle the growth of possibly talented builders. Additionally, even if you don't particularly get bothered by it, your builds often end up looking mediocre, and most people come here to see the pretty model images; they look at yours and either think it's shit (spawning more people who hate you), that it's fine to be mediocre (and i've already explained why this can be a troubling message), or, like me, that you're not very good at building Gunpla (which doesn't seem to bother you, since it seems you draw enjoyment from another aspect of gunpla). Also, since you don't like the actual building part you can come across as lazy, and to some people it might seem you are a wealhy asshole throwing money away, and i can definitely see why a person like that would piss people off.
> second kit I ever built
Didn't know squat about gunpla or tools or paint or anything just kinda guessed on what might make it look real using a nail file.Excuse the photo quality its an old pic n had potato camera.
Overall, i can definitely undestand why you get hate, but i think the hate you get is very disproportionate. Your kits look mediocre at best, and mediocre at worst (at least in my opinion, and it seems to be the general opinion around here too). They're definitely not terrible or horrifying, and while you can be annoying sometimes, you're also not as bad as people make you out to be.
I still have a few more questions to ask though. If you don't have anything to prove, and you'e not planning to improve at it, why do you post images of your kits? What is your favorite part of Gunpla?
Damn, Man Rodi actually looks great with Zeon style legs. I may need to rethink my original custom idea.
Not everyone feels the need to improve, even from the very basics of any hobby. I build to pass the time. I paint and detail and weather and pose my models to pass the time. I don't submit my models to any competition and while I do post things looking for help on certain things the only person whose opinion I care about when it comes to my models is my own.
It's all about enjoying any hobby however you like. If you are having fun building your way that's great, but not everyone wants to do it your way. Some enjoy the process of learning and improving while others just want to snap a model together and are happy with what we might consider unfinished but if its not your model why care?
It's late and I'm not proofreading that shit, I hope it makes sense. I'm gonna go pass out now.
I'll be honest I probably missed some nubs on the feet/legs area mainly but I fucked the stickers up on the wings entirely.
At least half of the hate comes from when snapfag would constantly spam the same blurry, bloated pictures of the same kits in every thread, both on /m/ and /toy/. There's also the holier-than-though attitude, the /v/eddit-tier reaction images/maymay-spewing, and refusal to admit when he's wrong. Those last two points are part of why snapfag's hated in other parts of /m/, not just /gpg/.
>At least half of the hate comes from when snapfag would constantly spam the same blurry, bloated pictures of the same kits in every thread, both on /m/ and /toy/.
While i don't like it when people latch on to old behaviors, i can definitely why people would be bitter torwards him from that.
>holier than thou
Yeah, i noticed quite a bit of that. I do find it pretty annoying, i should have mentioned it.
>/v/eddit-tier reaction images/maymay-spewing and refusal to admit when he's wrong.
I don't actually spend too much time on these threads so i haven't experienced that yet, but if he actually does this then he should definitely expect a ton of hate. That sounds obnoxious as fuck.
>If you don't have anything to prove, and you'e not planning to improve at it, why do you post images of your kits?
I like to share them with people. I'm a 4chan regular. Have been for ten years or so. You don't need a reason to do anything.
>What is your favorite part of Gunpla?
I like Gundam. That's really all there is to it.
Ill keep that in mind, I had a hard time doing stickers for RG wing zero but when I snipped some decals I got for him I had found it a lot easier to apply. Makes sense the same would go for stickers
>I seriously doubt I have more than a couple haters.
Buddy, it's a lot more than a couple
Luckily I think you're ability to attention whore is dying down. It took you posting that shit tier sazabi 5 times to get that desperate attention you were looking for and then you kept riding the wave and saw more opportunities to post some pictures of your shitty kits. If you really weren't an attention whore you would buy action figs instead of making kits since there's no building involved (which is your least favorite step as you stated) and you certainly can afford them since you have spent so much money on all those different kits you have. But you won't do that, because since it's not plamo you won't have a legitimate reason to post in this thread and get that attention you so desperately crave.
He's an attention whore end of story. His "helpful tips" posts when he isn't spamming his shit builds are just more cries for attention. If you're new here the best thing to do is not feed into his attention cravings. He just likes to stir shit up, this has been made obvious by his other posts outside of the gunpla plamo thread.
I'm having some issues seam welding shit. I'm putting the plastic cement in between the two pieces before sticking them together, but the damn seam line refuses to be removed fully even with a large amount of sanding. What could I be doing wrong?
I'm building the old rising gundam kit. I have putty, but I've only used it once before and in a way that hides it. I'm planning on painting it, but not until later, and I'm assuming the putty will require me to paint over it after sanding, correct?
It was this or the RG Zaku I got after, but the RG Zaku I oversprayed the flat coat and it frosted like fuck in some parts so it's this.
Also, I might go ahead and get the RG of this. It's looking pretty good.
>I don't compare my kits to anyone elses because the experience is different for everyone. I don't have anything to prove.
Yet you keep insisting your butterfly wings are better and that your G3 is rarer than other's
I'm a huge fan of the wing 01 but the only part of the Ver.ka design I don't like is its wings, personally I thought the wings from the second wing gundam in the series were the best. Still a bad ass though
I actually passed on the EW WZC (least favorite design for me) but kind of guessed this was coming so it's all right. Would totally get DS/DSH if it gets an RG if ever that happens.
It may happen.
Thinking about it, there's something about the TV Wing's err, Wings which works so well. I kind of like the Ver. Ka for its wings but I can see why you would prefer the latter.
>I don't compare my kits to anyone elses because the experience is different for everyone. I don't have anything to prove.
>Yet you keep insisting your butterfly wings are better and that your G3 is rarer than other's
First is an opinion. Second is a fact.
Alternatively, some people (in our local plamo community) love the crap out of this kit and I do too, but there's a shitload of things i could have done better, starting with the missed nubs and stress marks.
That IS an awesome kit man.
People in my local area are very casual about gunpla, their stuff is full of nubs and never has any detail painting nor top coating. I just don't know man.
It makes a bit more sense with the backpack on. Also the pla-plate is just very carefully scored/bent into place. It was a bitch to put on there but it looks alright.
The worst part is upon cutting out the really small lower visor for the Raiden, the goddamn thing broke (I questioned Koto's plastic quality that day) and I managed to fix it with whatever was left of it plus some small scraps which happened to fit his face.
There's still the RNA version of this fucker in a local store and when I have the budget for it I'm totally going for it. Sucks that it doesn't have the huge lasers but electric shoulder forks aren't a bad replacement.
There's probably a little too much post processing on this version, but it's the only version of the picture I have readily available to post.
So apparently Revive Qubeley is getting articulated fingers just like the Super Fumina.
>quick! actual discussion is occurring! disrupt it! gogo!
Yeah, Koto plastic is weird. Sometimes its sturdy, sometimes it's not. I notice their kits also like to try unconventional pieces and joints for whatever reason. Sometimes it ends up sturdy, sometimes it seems to barely hold at all.
Don't respond to my posts unless you have something to contribute
ugh I fucking tried koto kits once. CR-C90U3 AC. the plastic is so fucking brittle that it creaks everytime you try to move/pose it. puts fucking bootlegs to shame. and a year later of having it displayed, the polycaps cracked.
are the more recent koto kits still like this shit?
The Raiden is a good showcase of that. The legs in general are rock fucking solid and hell, even the laser emitters on the shoulders are.
And then you get parts like the arms which are kinda loose and has kinda weird joints but at least it goes up to 90 when you slide it out. The hands are weird that they're separated but it's actually just the goddamn closed fist. And the thumb doesn't plug in well (IIRC I glued that shit in on mine)
It depends on which Koto kit you get. I heard good things about Frame Arms, but have no clue. Here's what I have experience with:
>Their Muv-luv kits are alright, similar to HG with good detail here and there. They have pre-applied decals and their arm joints have this rubber ball in socket connection... which is terrible for when you're trying to pose because it falls out easily during moving (those they hold static pose of any kind just fine). Their back-thrusters fall of easily too. Certain parts were a fucking pain to connect due to how they are designed. The arms have a weird two-bit connection piece holding them together. Allows for two points of articulation.
>Zoid kits: some of the top-notch kits I ever had, basically the RG-quality work with solid articulation and solid hold of parts.
yeah, after 9 hours at work I really don't want to have to set up the airbrush, get my mask on, compressor running mix paint and get painting it fucking sucks
and this.. is how my backlog builds, decent cashflow for gunpla but no time/energy to build/paint stuff
what is that light grey? The tamiya sparkly effect is pretty hard to see on those. Also what gold is that?
Wow no response from snapshit on why he doesn't buy action figs instead of kits since the process if building (you know, the point of buying a model kit) is his least favorite step. How surprising.
What's with the stupid looking wings on the MG Freedom 2.0? Looks like it's trying too hard to be a destiny gundam wannabe.
what's the problem with them? They look pretty accurate for me
I was talking about these stupid things I encircled.
it's like the freedom 2.0 is trying to out-edge the destiny. what's next? Destinier 2.0 but with more edge than the metal build?
>those are the cannon things i'm pretty sure man
NO. you can clearly see from the moulding that it's part of the actual blue wings. Freedom 2.0 is the new wanna be destiny EdgeLord
>pretty sure it is part of the wing's articulations
even if it is, why? even the metal build didn't have spiky edge points. the whole deal of the freedom was that it's design was the opposite of the destiny i.e. no super sharp edges.
You wish that you were samefagging? I don't get it. If i quoted you in that post, it was to point out you're retarded or new or both to be replying to that stupid copypasta that's been posted over and over. It's not really an opinion.
A few MS like the TurnA will only grow in you once you actually see it on action.
But stuff like the EX-S and Hi-v will get you into buying them regardless
>Do you guys buy kits from Gundam shows you've seen?
>Or just buy them because they're cool?
What if the Gundam isn't from a show, anon?
Finished my MG Dom, but fugged up the 07 decal and had a few bad nubs, not sure if i could fix it outside buying a exact same purple.
not really sure if theres anything worth panel lining on this kit, but i still love it.
probly going to start the RX-78-2 3.0 next. but i'm worried about decals after this.
Are the lines of texts on the skirt and shoulder supposed to be there? They feel really out of place. Also topcoat it bruh, flatcoat work best with big curved surface, which the Dom has most.
it was on the areas picture on the last page of the instructions, but yeah i'll probably remove them.
and what about topcoat, does it hide nubs better?
My first two kits were bought just because I thought they looked cool, but as of now personally I won't buy a mecha unless I've seen the series first. Only because I know if I see it first I'll appreciate the kit more
this thing is fucking ridiculous in the best way possible
Shit I wanted to see a nineball.
Guess miniskirt is too strong.
>Snap-shit is a League of Legends player
Welp, at least now we know where you honed your troll skills so finely. I hope we meet on the Rift so I can show you how to play Sona.
You'd be watching from the respawn pool most of the time sadly.
HG Lightning Gundam comes with no backpack. Skip straight to Back Weapon System 2, it looks a lot better than 1, has a ton of boosters, and comes with a railgun attachment.
It'll never happen because we haven't even gotten a MG Build Burning, but if there's an MG Lightning it'd be cool if it came with both packs.
really hated that about the lightning... all the backpacks are seperate kits you have to buy instead of actually just coming with the HG Lightning itself...

Lightning Gundam Fullbernern Waverider Mode looks ugly tho. Also, no missile pods.
