gundam IBO has new op/ed now, fumitan woman sneaky orders are now revealed, turns out they went to these dort colonies in order for her to get shot by a ghalalahorn assasin, and the cargo they were shipping was actually weapons for the colony folks, unbeknownst to tekkaden, who don't want to get involved with whatever nonsense they spurred up.
biscuit has an older brother who lives on that colony, his name isn't food related (un)fortunately.
pic related, the char of the show has finally appeared, in the next ep preview.
who's gonna get the graze custom?
oh shit, no wait you mean the graze with the white upper body parts, not the pinky one? notguts' old graze kai is going to the brown hair dude the short blonde homorphan takes a liking to.
at least i assume so since he's shown trying to use it for a bit in today's episode.
It was stupid in the sense that here you are trying to sell yourself that you're an original Gundam story, then you get the director of a show with a somewhat similar basic premise to do your OP, and your OP has basically similar visuals to that show's OP's.... WTF Sunrise, that's lazy as fuck. was it hard to not get Obari to do your fucking OP?
>biscuit has an older brother who lives on that colony
Either him or Fumitan(realising she's a cold cunt) are going to take the bullet for Kudelia right after talking about how short life is and how Kudelia is their ray of hope or some bullshit.
we're what? 14 episodes and Kudelia hasn't done anything. I was in a coma 14 episodes in, and I at least did something. It was stupid, but at least it was something.
in the same span of time I have:
>Shot a grenade Launcher
>Revealed self to an unsuspecting Orbital Knight
>Almost get killed by crazy Redhead
>Sent into a coma by someone who wants me dead thanks to my loyal idiot subject
>get replaced by crippled half sister I don't know about.
Holy shit, at least we know that the Yaoi bait is the only story the showrunners care about.
>I get the feeling biscuit realised that orga's never going to listen to him and thats why he seems to have just fucked off into irrelevance.
>The only reason he would get any screentime now is if they were going to kill him off
is there a side by side comparsion of masks?
this has to be one of the silliest
>oh hey you're the guys escorting kudelia the super important revolutionary who will save all of us dwntrodden folks from the tyranny of gallahorn
>meanwhile kudellia is hopping for new clothes
is this an intentional joke? because i just dont know anymore
to know whether something WILL happen.
well, call me surprised. Shame on me for giving this series a chance. they could've fucking just told Obari to animate OP2, but they went to a guy who just directed a similar show...which puts it in direct comparison to that show.
So a Gundam dressed up as Pepe this whole time? Wonder who the woman with white hair and no eyebrows is supposed to be, at least things seem like they might be moving along now. Oh, and they remembered to put Azee in the OP this time.
Wasn't Kudelia supposed to be hella popular among POOR PEOPLE?
caps lock in case you missed they were POOR PEOPLE
for a detailed list:
but to tell the truth. It has more to do with the focus of the show. The show doesn't actually care about the politics, it only cares about shirtless guys piloting MS's....BECAUSE YAOI pandering and boohoo, we're pitiful, and we must rise from the ashes of poverty and slavery(YAY HUMAN CONDITION). If it did care about the politics, they would at least show Kudelia's speeches.
>If it did care about the politics, they would at least show Kudelia's speeches.
We did see parts of one of those. "We are going to think of the children so hard once we're in power. Probably." is her central message.
>, it only cares about shirtless guys piloting MS's....BECAUSE YAOI pandering
It doesn't even do that well though. The relationships are just so nothing and everyone just treats each other the same. The only real pairs are Orga and Mika (which have barely any time together outside OP and ED) and those two random people who's only notable feature is they are gay for each other
That's what will make it a tweeest.
>how Kudelia is their ray of hope or some bullshit.
Just watched the episode, it didn't come from Biscuits brother this ep but still.
>I've never told anyone
Guts' brother was enough.
I understand the entire event is being orchestrated by an EVIL ADULT N THEIR LIES but anyone else thought this went a little too easy?
The first Gjallahorn being shot is understandable but the rest kinda just stood there and got shot. If you're going in there pointing rifles hoping to defuse a situation you'll probably end up firing if the persons you're trying to arrest are also armed.
For fuck's sake not AGAIN. It is more repetitive than Sarah-Four-Rosamia. I can't believe this shit.
Well odds are high jellyhorn is gonna skull fuck them with grazes, better get the cool adults into the mobile workers or something.
What if Orga unintentionally becomes Che Guevara in all of this?
Mexican Soap Operas are at least entertaining. Also I can't drop it, I watch IBO with a group of friends every Saturday afternoon and I'm the one who brings the anime. So I'm gonna see it regardless.
People still defend this. People will defend using the exact same brother idea. People will defend the stupid dock workers who worship Kudelia despite having never seen her apparently. People will defend them easily fighting off armoured convoys
>It took 14 episodes for something to finally happen
It's more proactive than the OH LOOK BROTHERS MEETING ON THE BATTLEFIELD HOW CONVENIENT thing Aki got.
And honestly I'd rather have BRO IN THE FBI VS BRO WORKING FOR GUN RUNNERS melodrama than the Aki-Masa thing.
Explain how the fuck those convoys managed to come THAT close to the hanger without being noticed.
Don't they have scouts anywhere for this kind of shit?
This just in, people can't into armed uprisings.
Also it seemed like a rigged sting from the getgo. Kudelia was supposed to get shot in the crossfire or something wasn't she?
TO BE QUITE HONEST I'M ACTUALLY KINDA HYPE AT THE THOUGHT THAT STUPID MELODRAMA BULLSHIT MIGHT FINALLY KICK IN. JUST SOAP MY SHIT UP OKADA. JUST SOAP IT.
Why did they open the doors to them? If they knew they could get in why did they take them out their? Why were the guns not hidden in any way? If the ghalalahorn had just stopped them for a check when being delivered what exactly was the plan?
IBO wants to be more than it's lazily thought out world and story is
>Explain how the fuck those convoys managed to come THAT close to the hanger without being noticed.
Maybe it's a huge, open hanger.
This would be retarded.
>Don't they have scouts anywhere for this kind of shit?
Maybe they're just really shit at planned rebellions and "our supporter" assured them that they'd smuggle tons of illegal weapons without a hitch. Maybe people in IBO are more retarded than the ones in G-Reco.
I cant really explain it either, it was awful.
>tfw trying to stay hopeful
oh who am i kidding?
It's not dead....it's just asleep.because of boredom.
Because good God, this second half should be action packed, because if not. It'll be:Gundam: Nothing happened. I'd even watch the last half of Destiny, because something actually happens.
Takaki: Hey akihiro remember that sister i mentioned who also happens to look just me well I am that sister, My brother actually died when he ngot crushed in that mobile worker but i had stowed away on the ship secretly and took his place because i didnt want his family to be sad. Also he called me his sister but im actually his brother buti asked him to call me sister so nobody would know im a trap. Takaki was actually my sister, he just pretended to be a boy so that he could work aat cgs becuase he was in love with mika. By the way I have mentioned this up until now but i actually have another brother who lives on the moon
Anyone else notice that the backgrounds of this series are just really dull?
Nothing is unique or just particularly nice to look at. It's 90% grey sometimes with a bit of rust. Even the cities don't have much personality, the shopping this episode could have taken place on the mafia colony and the styles would have blended cause they are the same
Ayy, but G-reco's backgrounds were great. Even irrelevant throwaway locations were memorable.
I really miss all the little detail the show had. I can't think of any nice locations in IBO, just grey rusty ship hall, same grey rusty ship walls in bedroom, grey rusty kitchen, brown desert and modern city.
>everyone bitching about brothers
One of the central themes of the show is family. It's all family this, family that, how far would you go for your family, is your family the people you're related to or the people you trust? The whole show is about the relationships people have with other people and what it means to consider others 'your family'. Similarly, it's about how much trust you put in the people around you and thus how much of yourself you let them know. As Tekkadan becomes more familial and let their emotions show, we'll probably end up hearing about lots more siblings that they're putting through school or lost contact with or whatever. I'm not saying it's some kind of masterpiece or even very good, I'm just saying you shouldn't be surprised.
Also, of course Gjallarhorn knew the guns were there and could easily storm in before being easily repelled. The guy pulling the strings set the whole thing up so there would be a revolution that Kudelia could be killed - he obviously hyped her and Tekkadan up massively to the colony workers and tricked Tekkadan into transporting them weapons, so they'd rebel and he could have his uprising. I suppose he was only guessing there'd be a shootout but I wouldn't imagine it mattered much in the long run - as long as Kudelia was seen to be supporting armed revolution, and was then killed, shit would start kicking off all over.
Reaction is mixed honestly.
>One guy really likes that Mika kills people but he's behind on like 6 episodes due to his job. Though he's a massive Wingfag.
>His sister thinks IBO is stupid though and just taps away on her phone or chills with her boyfriend until Haikyuu is on.
>Another guy(also a brother of the two mentioned above)likes when there's fights but thinks the dialogue is tiring to read because they keep repeating the same thing over n over. He'll prolly really enjoy the end of this episode.
>Girlfriend thinks it's just ok. She's still salty because she's a GRecofag and all she sees is people praising IBO and it getting pushed so hard in the west despite being "the polar opposite of greco but bad"
>I think it's shit and just drink through it on Saturdays and keep my mouth shut.
Typically we don't drop anything regardless of how bad it gets, except for Tokyo Ghoul. I simply pretended I never heard about Root A.
How the fuck are they getting away with basically doing the same three episodes over and over again? We've gone NOWHERE since they've been to space. The only character who's done shit all this whole series is fucking Orga.
Then it is saying don't trust family you idiot cause it makes them all evil
Also the problem is repeating the same plot point right after doing it
>The guy pulling the strings set the whole thing up
That is lazy terrible all accroding to bad translation writing
Seed isn't even worth the paper to wipe my ass with and Destiny was even a bigger pile of turd. It literally took me 3 tries to get through all of Seed and I dropped Destiny 75% of the way through.
Fuck Kira and Jesus moments. Hell fuck the Cosmic Era in general.
Congratulations Okada it only took you half of the fucking show for something to actually happen. What the fuck, normally the big worldshaking twist would have happened and it would have been hamfisted and cheesy as fuck, but we haven't gotten that. We haven't gotten anything. The show has just been lazily meandering along for three and a half months and I don't give a single shit about any of the characters because nothing ever happens to them. It's like if you ran the fucking Avengers schwarma stinger for half an hour ever week and slapped the Gundam name on it.
It's about both. Some of them have family they care about and want to protect, some of them have family they're estranged from, some of them have family that's trying to kill them, some of them have no family at all. Besides which, we don't even know what Biscuit's brother's game is - maybe he wants to warn Biscuit that Tekkadan's being watched. I guess we'll have to watch the next episode to find out!
>that is lazy terrible all accroding to bad translation writing
I don't know quite what you mean by this, but why would it be in any way hard for this guy, shown to have vast resources, to set up a simple incident like this? He just needs the guns, some workers, some police and Kudelia to be in a room together.
Holy shit, I thought Graham's whole Mr. Bushido get-up looked dumb.
Lazy is HOW CONVENIENT THAT WE MEET ON THE BATTLEFIELD LIKE THIS.
Contrived is DID I MENTION THIS BIT OF MY BACKSTORY I WITHHELD UNTIL THE EPISODE RIGHT BEFORE IT BECOMES RELEVANT?
>Some of them have family they care about and want to protect
You mean completely irrelevant characters one of which was only to try and heighten tension when he nearly died? Really showing how important family is there
>some of them have family they're estranged from, some of them have family that's trying to kill them,
This is the same group so far
>we don't even know
Read his monitor idiot
>but why would it be in any way hard for this guy
Why would it be hard for him to set up that the space mafia by Jupiter take a job to move arms and that then have the orphans link up with them and travel with the same group so while also manipulating the people at the colony to think they they are so amazing so start a rebellion and also have the police to know exactly when they will land able to get the doors open to a facility they don't own and bust in knowing the guns will be out?
I did that consciously you ninny, and if I have to paraphrase myself for you then
>the show is about families, don't be surprised that the characters have them.
>the police arrival/worker rebellion looked unnatural because it WAS unnatural, it's all obviously a setup
To be fair plenty of shows do the latter and don't get shit for it.
And apparently some people can tolerate unsubtle foreshadowing which the former is concerned with.
Either way, /m/ really needs to get this whole armchair critic thing out of its system ASAP, I'm fed up with this post-Reco attitude of people thinking they know what a story should and shouldn't be.
>of course Gjallarhorn knew the guns were there
You didn't understand what people were complaining about: the guys at the dock didn't see the Ghana-soldiers despite the relevance of the exchange. They didn't have one single scout anywhere and the Gahja-soldiers just had to unlock a door and get them.
It is so stupid on so many levels.
And let's ignore the whole scene. Pro-soldier, who we are told are better than Martian ones just two minutes before, get their asses kicked like nothing.
There is not a single drop a blood or a corpse despite the whole gunfight looking like a big deal.
And NOBODY has a believable reaction to the event
> "More soldiers are coming"
>"HELL YEAH, MOTHERFUCKER"
Oh, and yeah, it was animated worse than usual.
Just like G-Reco a majority of the anons will shit on this constantly and make memes.
Don't even quote me saying "but g-reco is actually good shit. I powered on through so many threads where people were shitting on the show any chance they can get and then when it finished, a small niche community actually enjoyed the show.
Same will be with IBO. Hell, even Thunderbolt get shitted hard on this board. It is like this board hates everything and they will critique it to now end.
>To be fair plenty of shows do the latter and don't get shit for it.
What aren't you getting? It is doing both in a row literally just before both meet their brother which is the problem
>knowing anything about how to do a proper uprising
The fuckers were clearly naive about the whole thing, look at them unboxing the cargo and showing off their goods and acting all HELL YEAH MOTHERFUCKER THE SPACE SOUTH RISES AGAIN like no one's gonna find out.
It was bait, they literally took bait, you expect bait takers to show any sort of competence?
>To be fair plenty of shows do the latter and don't get shit for it.
That doesn't make it any less contrived or lazy and has nothing to do with discussing IBO. People have been armchair critics over their interest on just about every board here centered around an interest. It's not going to suddenly stop because you don't like it.
>>knowing anything about how to do a proper uprising
Please, if you ever played near a town with some firecrackers, you would have someone watching the street for cars and people.
>He was infinitely more proactive about it.
What the fuck do you even mean by that shit? He called him so it was okay? No fuck off it is the same shit and just as stupid. Just after mentioning this character that should be more important to them for the first time they appear but oh no they are with the bad guys, a phone call doesn't change what the story beat is
>People have been armchair critics over their interest on just about every board here centered around an interest.
That doesn't make them any more fit to market their ignorance as fact.
No, the person he's replying to(if it isnt you) made the distinction that Masahiro showing up was lazy writing and Saravin being in Dort 3 was contrived.
If that is true then IBO has done both right after the other. Which isn't a good thing.
This board is really and I mean really bad just to have discussions without people shitposting and just trolling. I thought I could get a decent conversation going with some people when G-Reco was on but that was a failure. I would be hounded by memes, people telling me the show is utter trash and how this is another failure to failure to the gundam franchise. I was very surprised after the show ended, some people defended it and enjoyed the show but they were just branded "G-Recotards".
Now the exact same thing is happening with IBO. I love the concept and how it is being set up but we get people just shitposting as usual.
Might just stop coming here completely because the cancer is utterly ridiculous. I am all for people having opinions and I understand how this board operates but the negativety on any gundam has been brutal. From Reco, to IBO, to Thunderbolt to Macross. Every single one of them gets hammered because of the nostalgia fags.
>Mika, I have a brother
>I just wanted you to know now, while we are still a part of the CGS in episode 1 and waste screen time on it
>To avoid autists on reddit 2.0 saying we didn't foreshadow a minor character that is probably gonna die seconds after being shown for cheap emotions
These are people who apparently are organising a rebellion and dealing with the mafia. But I guess the magic mystery man just made it all easy. These people have no reason to be that stupid. The Teiwaz have no reason to be so stupid as to deliver something they have no idea about into a lawful territory
I never said it wasn't hamfisted, I just said that a lot of characters are shown having people they care about and are responsible for.
All Biscuit's brother's monitor was showing was a report that Tekkadan is an armed group thought to be running guns for revolutionaries in the colony. We don't know whether Biscuit's brother is going to warn him about this, betray him or just try to find out if it's true that his brother is running guns.
Lastly, yes of course it's easy. Think about the things he needs to do:
>have someone take guns to the workers
>have Kudelia show up nearby at the same time
>anonymously tip the police off that the guns that HE IS TRACKING are in the cargo bay
>sit back and wait for the fireworks
He has Fumitan on the inside sending him reports and taking his orders, he has presumably vast amounts of wealth and power given the surroundings we see him in, he can easily be changing his plans as he goes along. Tekkadan taking his completely reasonable shipping job for some extra cash, on the pretense it's just industrial supplies, is one of the simpler parts of the plan.
Found the retard.
No that guy was saying both of them were equally lazy and contrived, when in fact they're significantly different cases.
Biscuit's phone call gives more credibility to him and his brother meeting up than Akihiro's backstory being a one episode foreshadow.
People have the freedom to be critical of things within their perceived interest, if you say that they're ignorant then simply prove them wrong or stop bitching about other people bitching since you're input is worth as much as their ignorant comments.
>No that guy was saying both of them were equally lazy and contrived, when in fact they're significantly different cases.
>Lazy is HOW CONVENIENT THAT WE MEET ON THE BATTLEFIELD LIKE THIS.
>Contrived is DID I MENTION THIS BIT OF MY BACKSTORY I WITHHELD UNTIL THE EPISODE RIGHT BEFORE IT BECOMES RELEVANT?
Follow the reply chain.
Well, yeah! The magic mystery man would want to make it as EASY for the guys to kick off a revolution as possible, assuring them it will work, while also knowing it will fail horribly. Also Teiwaz is the mafia, why would they care about transporting dirty goods? They're not even directly involved, it's the Turbines and Tekkadan who they can easily disavow if they have to.
>Lastly, yes of course it's easy.
>Ignores what he actually says they would need to go through
but yeah they were getting some tips so it would be easy to organise that huge event. just send a space letter and everything will neatly fall into place.
>The Teiwaz have no reason to be so stupid as to deliver something they have no idea about into a lawful territory
You're telling me the rebellion should be competent because they deal with the mafia, and then go on to suggest the mafia subfamilies wouldn't operate on an "ask no questions" policy?
You mean the reply chain wherein other anons claim they're both the same thing?
>Also Teiwaz is the mafia, why would they care about transporting dirty goods?
watch the scene with Naze this episode. Watch the Old Lady's reaction to being asked what was in the box.. they didn't know and said not to cause any trouble
> it's the Turbines and Tekkadan who they can easily disavow if they have to.
Literally the plot is they can't and are involved now
>You mean the reply chain wherein other anons claim they're both the same thing?
No one did that, both replies to that say that IBO has done both not that they're the same thing. Then one guy goes off on a tangent about how other shows do it but dont get as much flak for it.
Money doesn't mean you can do anything, especially when you are organising stuff from here to Jupiter which all has to go off at once. Also someone already did
>Why would it be hard for him to set up that the space mafia by Jupiter take a job to move arms and that then have the orphans link up with them and travel with the same group so while also manipulating the people at the colony to think they they are so amazing so start a rebellion and also have the police to know exactly when they will land able to get the doors open to a facility they don't own and bust in knowing the guns will be out?
but it happens in every gundam that the females of the group want to go shopping while others do something else. happened in reco. i think it happened in early zeta too.
does /m/ watch the previews since everyone is questioning what biscuits bro is gonna do
You can't predict the human element, not unless you're a character in an Ichiro Okouchi narrative.
Kudelia should've been caught in the crossfire, but instead it looks like Orga might become a figurehead for a revolution since he was the right celebrity-figure at the right place at the right time, even as he's trying to get Isarabi out and away from the mess before someone connects the dots.
didnt they get the transport job after the bewers fight? and with fumi on the inside telling them "hey we linked with the space mafia hey were taking small jobs" are you one of those fags that doesnt actually watch the show and makes wild guesses based on the thread?
>didnt they get the transport job after the bewers fight?
Transporting the goods? No because there was no where to get them there. Even still they would then have to be idiots not to check goods going into a lawful territory where a false move could cause them serious problems. They also had no way of knowing if they'd be the ones given the cargo to do that. It could quite easily gone with another ship not even travelling with them. This is especially true as any message ordering the guns would take a long item so they wouldn't not be able to calculate it so orphans definitely get it
> and with fumi on the inside
She can only give bit of information, the rest of the issues are still there. Even with a bit of help that is a huge amount to organise and there is still the random element. So many random things could go wrong with the delivery, rebellion or even Kudelia's status to the workers.
This is a Machiavellian plan on interplanetary scale with many different groups needing to work just right.
that's why you put mika, kamille, bell on the shopping team. did you see the preview mika is a freaking blood hound he can protect kab. if it was just kab, arta, and fumi your shit posting would make sense but it doesnt when the best ace/lead are there
Alright then, let's do this
>Tekkadan has to reach Earth, but cannot travel from Mars due to the fact that all the guidance beacons are controlled by Gjallarhorn
>they need a guide to get them to Earth, but no one will work for them as everyone knows Gjallarhorn are trying to kill them
>only one organisation could possibly help them - Teiwaz
>meanwhile Fumitan is reporting everything the whole time to fatman
>Tekkadan gets Teiwaz to help guide them to Earth, and also takes a totally unsuspicious cargo of industrial supplies to the colony to make a bit of extra money
>meanwhile, there are some very discontented workers on a slum colony and all of a sudden SOMEONE starts spreading rumors about how there's this amazing space princess revolutionary maiden who's totally gonna come and help them rise up against their oppressors and she has a gallant band of knights who are only teenagers! And even they can fight Gjallarhorn! And she'll bring guns and lead them into a bright tomorrow of etc etc, so spread the word and get ready for the uprising
>then, once the ship is near dock (as reported to him by Fumitan) the police get an anonymous tipoff that workers (who have been rowdy lately for some reason) are getting GUNS from an armed group known to have been fighting Gjallarhorn and associated with revolutionary sentiments, and the ship is in dock RIGHT NOW!
Yeah, and as it turns out he DIDN'T predict the human element because he thought Fumitan would go through with betraying Kudelia. He exactly predicted the other human element though, that oppressed workers offered the chance to rise up over their callous overlords at the behest of a charismatic leader and given the arms to try and do so, would try and do so.
who says fumi can only give a bit of information? she's at the ship's head and one of the few that can read. she's could be relaying information 24/7. space mafia said they were to deliver it no questions asked so they did.
dont say she's stupid when you have characters like reccoa 90% of gundam females are dumb as fuck.
mika is worth 20 of each member of tekkaden.
Neither she nor any of the others of Tekkadan have any reason to suspect that Gjallarhorn or anyone else knows she's there, and are both surprised and suspicious when the workers (who don't even know what Kudelia looks like!) are aware of who they are and why they're there.
you know this show would be better if kudelia had been locked in a box and sealed away in a cargo bay and not opened until they had delivered her to earth just like those weapons this episode
>Neither she nor any of the others of Tekkadan have any reason to suspect that Gjallarhorn or anyone else knows she's there
Aside the fact they already know there is a leak from their side, right?
Aside the fact that they left PigFace alive, right?
Aside the fact she is a known face, right?
It isn't even an intelligence issue as it's more of a character usage issue. 14 episodes in and we still don't see any active participation from her, just that she wants to participate.
That is all a big leap in logic, they aren't the only group in space. It is not certain they would let them in.
> and also takes a totally unsuspicious cargo of industrial supplies
Bullshit. if they were taking it to a lawful zone they would check. Also timing of all this and making sure that the Orphans are the ones to deliver it are in now way under their control.
>SOMEONE starts spreading rumors about how there's this amazing space princess
How was this organised? Who did it? How did they know it would take cause if not the whole plan falls apart? What if teh police get wind at this stage and already shut any rebellion down?
> the police get an anonymous tipoff that workers
They get a little tip off from an anonymous source and send 3 van fulls of armed guards? How did they get in? Did the rebellion have no guards? What if they weren't retarded and didn't start playing with the guns? What if the mafia weren't retarded and repackaged them well so tehy are hidden? What if they all surrendered just there?
>(who have been rowdy lately for some reason)
You literally just made this up
no one is as dumb as 3rd wave feminist the character. not even brain dead raraiya.
>i want to prove women can work in the military and be aces!
>oh no im not getting treated special and like a woman anymore
>oh hey a pretty boy who wants to use a colony lazer to rule the world is offering that good d. better join him!
>have any reason to suspect that Gjallarhorn or anyone else knows she's there,
They have tried to kill them 3 times and just entered into their territory. What retard would not suspect they have been tracking them and will now try something? They don't even need to have been tracking they should know they have come. They don't even have to do anything to figure out. Just look what ships have docked, they should be checking which come into their area if they are apparently in control of earth to mars but lets say they just can't and that it is super easy to slip past cause mafia. In fact that is exactly what happens and Garma moves in because of it.
yup thats what happened.
>"shes coming to earth"
>"ok we'll wait there with super beefy new suits... and a fucking graze"
the whole point of joining the mafia was a jellyhorn proof route to earth and now that they're there one would assume they would take the measures to hide them selves. new ship ids, new papers, ect.
hell no! wait for the season to end then power threw it for the best effect. the slow bits will be worth.
but chicken how're you will be there
>What retard would not suspect they have been tracking them and will now try something?
The funny thing is that Tekkadan knows about it, because they already agreed on JapaneseSpaceMafia having a leak when LizardMan found Tekkadan ship.
They literally (literally) stated in the episodes where it was relevant that Teiwaz was their only option. Furthermore they stated this in front of Fumi, who was also the one that set up a meeting with the contact. In fact, Fumi is given a lot of responsibilities on the ship as one of the few people who can read and is adept at admin work so through her the fat guy has not only almost full intel on everything going on but also significant power to influence what Tekkadan do. Given that they're taking Kudelia to Earth because HE IS PAYING THEM TO it doesn't seem unreasonable that he'd be carefully planning around their movements and actions.
Furthermore, I don't think you understand exactly what state the 'revolution' is in or how easy it would be to set up. It's just a bunch of disenfranchised dock workers thinking they can rebel and that they'll sweep away the enemy in glorious revolution, all the fat guy has to do is have some agent spread rumors about Kudelia and revolutionary sentiments, and it would spread like wildfire. Why should they keep working for bosses who live in incredible wealth, yet don't care if the workers live or die? Perhaps, with Kudelia's help, we can actually do it! All we need are guns and good intentions!
Note that this is not actually enough, and they have no idea what they're really doing.
Furthermore, the intelligence services were clearly aware of who Tekkadan are based on the stuff on Biscuit's brother's computer and that they may be transporting guns, and lo and behold - the Tekkadan ship, an assault cruiser, pulls into port and starts unloading cargo. Perhaps at this point someone sends them a tipoff (Or maybe they even just have cameras in the dock? Biscuit's brother has a photo of the docked Tekkadan ship) and they send a couple of vans of riot police.
Christ, I thought people not understanding Reco were retarded, but to not understand what happens in IBO must mean you're a whole new level of retard. Pay attention, you fucking plant.
In case you have forgotten you are on /m/ they will shitpost and troll just to increase the thread numbers. People aren't that stupid and just want attention to themselves. Notice how he types and acts like an ignorant retard.
I doubt Teiwaz will betray but the rest is feasible
>where it was relevant that Teiwaz was their only option.
Again, that is bullshit. they can't be the only illegal service in the solar system. And again it was not a sure thing they would get let in or they would get the package. In fact you ignore most of my questions
>significant power to influence what Tekkadan do
No he has an ability to possible influence. It is no means a sure thing they would listen to her or even invite her to meetings. You make it sound liek he has actual control which is bullshit
>but muh intel
It only means so much. Just cause you know people are going somewhere does not mean you can perfectly orchestrate a huge plan like this especially timings on such a huge scale
>e the 'revolution' is in or how easy it would be to set up
Easy to set up a revolution? What the fuck are you smoking? Especially with dorks who wave around guns when they first get them and don't even lock their doors. You haven't answer the majority of problems I pointed out with this never mind all of them in the thread, you just said it would work easy
>some agent spread rumors about Kudelia
Same issue as I responded to first time.
> the intelligence services were clearly aware of who Tekkadan are based on the stuff
So why would they not act till they had the guns creating an even worse situation where a huge number of their men died? Again not answer the majority of my questions
Bullshit you have just made up
Those predictions are so bad they are laugable. He got 1 right with Fumitan but the rest is laughable.
Stop posting your shitty predictions on here when no one gives a flying rats ass.
That's not what Reccoa's about at all, did you even watch Zeta?
She was a child soldier, which messed her up emotionally and made her a thrill-seeker. She was never interested in proving what women could do. Furthermore, her whole life she was treated like a soldier and even when she wants someone to treat her like a woman - Char - he only sees her as a fellow soldier which she hates. She also doesn't want the responsibility of being a good role model for Kamille and the other young pilots, because she knows she's an adrenaline junkie and not actually in AEUG because she believes what they're fighting for, just to sate her thirst for battle.
So when she encounters Scirocco, this mysterious, incredibly charismatic guy (who is also a Newtype shown to have mindfuclery powers) appears, shows that he definitely knows she's a spy, and then lets her go anyway all the while treating her 'like a woman' finally, she realises she has to see him again. So she switches sides, because with the Titans she can serve this cool guy and still be given command of a squad and a high-spec mobile suit to fight in.
So yes, she's selfish, but her reasons for it are understandable and if it weren't for the war and the power-hungry warmongers causing it, she could be friends with the people she's fighting (aka the message of Gundam).
Interview with Ippei Gyoubu.
What does he say about G-Reco?
but that's wrong. People have talked about it, but not in a good light, and it eats you alive, doesn't it?
People discuss A/Z, but just in a way that makes it look like a joke, and that's fine... because It's all it amounts to.
the voice is choco.
the eyes are choco
it is choco man with a wig and mask. he is going full char except with blue instead of red.
just wait until it turns out HE has an alya vanja system too! and it leads to understanding
jk just more murder
'twas fun seeing it be nothing but bullshit by the end.
>becoming Empress instantly solved everything.
Good God, why did I even resort to watching this goddamn comedy.
lmao seriously those predictions are complete trash this is exactly what makes /m/ sad.. their level of critique is so fucking bottom of the barrel low brow they actually think their trite bullshit is somehow removed for the more stale brand of trite bullshit they cant stand to watch
Both OP and ED are generic as fuck now. "Raise you Flag" primed you into being pumped every week and now this shit is just one of those japanese J-pop dime-a-dozen craps. And the least said about the utterly forgettable ED, the better.
>people not recognising Chocolate man
Not sure if trolling or just retarded
I bet if Zeta Gundam came on 2016 with the animation/visuals standards of today, /m/ would tear it to shreds.
We are on the era where everyone is a critique for sake of being one. People will shit on stuff just to be different from the masses and they so they shitpost on gundam threads.
That is what /m/ is now, just a joke. I miss back in the day when discussions had a semblance of decently intellectual people just arguing their point and the shitposters were ignored.
You're acting like it's a huge plan, when it's just a handful of small incidents in a much larger scheme. Of course it's hard to set up an actual revolution, all he needed to do was have some
>dorks who wave around guns when they first get them and don't even lock the doors
be caught in what looks like an armed uprising with Kudelia nearby.
The intelligence services didn't act, because what would they do? Go and accuse the dock workers of suspicious malfeasance? Tekkadan being in the dock would have made them worried, seeing the guns on camera/being tipped off there were guns would make them send police. How could they have known that their men would then be attacked and a 'huge' number of their men, where 'huge' is like four or five, were attacked and the rest driven off due to their tactically disadvantageous position were driven off.
But all this talk is pointless because really, as mecha 'grand schemes' go this one is very small scale and I do not understand why you think it would be incredibly difficult for any stage of it to be pulled off. I don't think there's anything I can say to convince you otherwise because you already believe what you want to believe. The only thing I'll give you is the arrangement that Tekkadan was carrying the guns, but that's only because I can't be bothered to rewatch the episode where they took the job and find whatever it was that obviously foreshadowed these events and was clearly orchestrated by the guy.
>i dont think those days are ever going to return
>talking about /m/'s yesteryears
you mean the same /m/ that overreacted to AGE?
you mean the same /m/ that has ridiculous roll threads to pass time. Heck I even remembered the Kaiju DND RP's we had.
you mean with classics like the Haro Thursdays, the daily NOSTALGIA THREAD or even Ruri's constant tantrums over what is or what is not /m/?
I know. In BF's heyday, we have more than that amount.
Honestly, Sunrise needs to rethink their strategy. put at least three years before their next major gundam release.
nah they think gundam is sexist and transfats
lmao shut the fuck up as if he is some care bear unable to handle dissenting opions.. he mainly would just enjoy talking about the thing the fucking /m/ is suposed to be about rather than having to sift through the painfully try hard bullshit people churn our their fucking ass. you should probably head over to tumblr so you can be the big bad wolf youve always wanted to be you weak cunt
I've false-flagged a few times and responded to a few other shitposts in this thread, I thought that was normal for /m/. I'll stay in a thread for hours and respond to every few new posts pretending to be someone else
37 images as well as tons of one liners is definitely the definition of extended conversation. I haven't even mentioned a lot of samefagging happening in this thread.
you should have seen then during greco while it was airing
>"why cant aida pilot the gself? sexist what she gets her own later? still sexist!"
>"oh my fuck she got slapped by a man! the same man that just whipped a bunch of boys! sexist!"
>"the only PoC is brain dead! racist! steer who's steer!? she wasnt even in episode1!"
>I bet if Zeta Gundam came on 2016 with the animation/visuals standards of today, /m/ would tear it to shreds.
As it should, the only reason Zeta is revered as perfect is because of zetafags. The show is complete shit.
>We are on the era where everyone is a critique for sake of being one.
No, we are in an era where most people won't eat shit and expect it to be good, like with Zeta.
>People will shit on stuff just to be different from the masses and they so they shitpost on gundam threads.
I'm starting to think you're one of those circlejerking faggots that can't accept that their favourite show is called for being shit.
>That is what /m/ is now, just a joke. I miss back in the day when discussions had a semblance of decently intellectual people just arguing their point and the shitposters were ignored.
You mean the time where people couldn't criticize shows because they were met with replies like "bait" or "gtfo shitposter"? Oh yeah, really good times. I for one am glad we broke that endless circlejerk most /m/ shows had.
>next week Atra loses her shoes
Could there be anything more exciting?
Person of Color, politically correct term for nigger, chink, spic, gook,
So hows Mcgillis going to be Not-char and a not-masked-char at the same time? say he has to go to the bathroom disappears for 40 minutes and Not-masked-char shows up and cleans house in his fancy new mech?
>we lost "Rise Your Flag" for THIS
I see that you're new. Would you like the starter guide or do you just want to explore on your own?
>not using a secure line to call your brother
>calling your brother from inside a colony controlled by your enemy
>telling anyone you are from Tekkadan
>while the enemy is trying to kill your precious cargo
I thought Musashi was the smart one. What happened to him? Not enough sugar to think about what he was doing?
I've been out of the loop since I dropped this trash at episode 5, but we Shingen Takeda now?
Considering we're doing the whole Aldnoah/Zero is good IBO is shit now that IBO is the current high profile mecha show I don't see why they wouldn't try to do the whole G-Reco is good this is shit thing too. It's all a bunch of bullshit anyway, like we all know /m/ will say whatever is the currently airing high profile mecha show is utter shit and the preceding one is a timeless classic no matter what. Why does this board even exist beyond being a big complaint box for whining 30+ somethings?
/m/ will always find something to complain about and cite as a reference for a show being completely irredeemable don't worry. It's pretty fucking ridiculous, but at least they seem to have stopped mass raiding other forums nowadays with the same shit. I'm no easy person to please but it seriously gets tiring hearing how everything is an abomination of mankind over and over week after week, month after month, year after year. It's why I maybe visit this board like once a month at most just to see if god forbid somebody has something else to contribute to the conversation since this is supposedly a board for mecha fans.
Honestly don't even bother with /m/ when it comes to mecha shows, that's kind of your first mistake right there. 4chan in general is just full throttle shitposting these days, I swear it wasn't even this bad a couple years ago. I drop in far less than I used to myself, mostly just for pics and shit since the actual text in the threads is putrid.
I wish IBO girls were worth half of any G-Reco girls.
Are you deaf? Raise Your Flag is barely above generic, 4-chord alt-rock. There's nothing even remotely creative about it. This new OP is relatively generic too (it's not really pop though; not even pop rock), but there is some thought put into the composition. There's some countermelodies in the bassline and decent usage of harmony across both guitars. Not anything amazing, but it's well done and leagues above the first OP in songwriting and musicianship.
But he did not bring it up to that other kid when they were specifically talking about their family, which would have been a good point.
I'm enjoying this show well enough, but biscuit's brother and !gut's brother are coming out with almost no build-up. Whatever resolution we get is going to feel forced or penciled-in because we've gotten no hint of it before. They almost did fumitan's betrayal right because we got to see her give bad looks and do suspicious shit in the past, but the frequency to which we've seen this is too high so it feels like a hammer to the noggin.
There's nothing wrong with the dockworkers worshipping a conceptual goddess they've never met, but them not recognizing her face is silly and probably should have just been cut out. And them fending off armored convoys is dumb from an execution standpoint, but when it comes to fights and tactics, this show has never even really tried to portray minutiae since its not the focus. You should know this by now, and that technically does not make it bad on its own.
There are people alive who defend this long lost brother bullshit
