With lines of code and Kojima/Shinkawa's immagination
With the will of metatron.
>>13725675
It is the will of the Metatron.
How does it walk? No feet?
>>13726691
It hovers, most of the time, and has landing gear when needed.
>>13726691
In the games you can make Jehuty's feet touch the ground. It doesn't walk, but it leaves red hot trails behind it as you glide. So cool.
>>13726711
Pretty sure it's scratching the floor with its feet when you do that actually.
>>13726903
Yeah, it is. Makes a grinding noise. I use to do it whenever practical.

Does anyone else think ZoE2 is overrated as hell?
The combat feels so weak. The hand sword attacks lack weight. The pew pew lasers you shoot sound very subdued. The camera is a pain in the ass to control. So many buttons just for moving your character around.
The bosses are cool, but the combat feels like crap.

Metatron.

and the level design is fucking awful.
>those fucking escort mission stages
>>13725675
AFAIK...
supposedly its like a reverse vector trap - basically the vector trap 'resets' its position before gravity can take effect to make it fall, in effect making it appear unnafected by gravity (when its actually constantly falling)
basically... rule of cool and Metatron tech doing crazycool crap

I dont know, i think that the combat mechanics improved from the first to the second chapter. I also loved the free roaming kind of world of ZOE1 but it was redundant as hell. In ZOE 2 they sacrificed the open world thingy and opted for a more linear storyline but they also managed to give the game more variability

I agree with some of your points.
And yet, it's the best mecha game ever.
That's how terrible the genre is.

Obviously space rats being made of fail.
