Why is this final-boss level again? It`s big and clunky, and I love it, but it only has a rifle and some sabers, no vulcans, no missiles and not even a shield! The average, basic Gundam has more features than this! Even Paptimus`s previous models like the Palace Athene had more weapons! So what`s the deal with this?
Nigga it's big and has four fucking beam sabers. That's pretty final bossy to me.
Are you going to say that the Zeong isn't worthy of being a final boss because it isn't as armed as the RX-78-2?
The rifle much stronger than a standard beam rifle and it's already armored enough that it doesn't need a shield because that'd be overkill and only serve to reduce the number of beam sabers it has.
So you like a lot of Dakka on your Mobile Suits?
It doesn't get much more Dakka than the NZ666.
Doesn't need any of that crap. In spite of its looks, it's fast and nimble as hell, mostly thanks to its biosensor. It only has a rifle and sabers, but those are pretty damn powerful. And if anything goes wrong, it always has the surprise crotch saber.
>big and strong
>can't stop a flying autistic grill ramming him
Yes its big and strong, it can handle zeta, hyakushiki and quebeley without a scratch.
High output thruster engine designed too perform under jupiter gravity used on earth
Big beam rifle
Surprise beam saber
Paptimus only lose because some dead women spirit interfering with his the O
So in completely optimal circumstances, what are some of the most advanced MSes The O would be able to handle?
Zeta's final battle was disappointing enough as it is, but watching CCA made me think of how much crazier Amuro's already crazy last battle at Axis could have been were he dealing with 4 arms instead of just 2.
I can see it holding out until the end of ZZ, where MS bristling with particle cannons like the Doben Wolf start getting mass-produced. By that point reactor output is so high that armor is irrelevant, it's just about who lands a hit with their Super Mega Particle Cannon first.
The O is a cool MS. I've always thought the shape of its head and back-fin together were supposed to evoke a rhinoceros beetle's horns.
Doesn't matter, Neue Ziel still rapes it like it does every Gryps-era machine.
But does it REALLY have a superior beam rifle? Is there evidence of it being actually stronger than a regular one? And what about the speed of the MS? I haven`t seen The O out-maneuvering anything!
I love The-O because of all the cool Kobayashi variants it spawned
Because this was at the start of Gundam's history, and back in the day, your standard "last boss" didn't need any gimmicks or super special "boss powers"
You put a tough customer in some weird looking mobile suit, and there's your last boss, and that's the end of that.
The Qubeley was the best at the end of zeta, not the O
Char really wanted his gelgoog because the zeong was unfinished and had no melee
The qubeley in ZZ was seriously outdated
Sazabi is an exception
I like how its so poorly thought out that it has to be really careful how it holds its weapons. If you approach it from its left while it is posing like in the OP pick, aiming the beam rifle at you will result in the beam rifle being destroyed by its own beam sabers unless you move two other arms out of the way first.
Which is something that it can do, but eventually its going to happen. Controlling 4 arms on the fly during the heat of battle is going to lead to a mistake eventually.
It's ridiculously heavily armored, and has enough thrusters to move at normal speeds while under Jupiter's gravity. Take it out from Jupiter's sphere of influence, and you suddenly have something with the durability of a mobile armor and the speed and agility of a mobile suit. AND the Bio sensor.
It's far from the flashiest MS out there, but for its time, it was fucking terrifying.
As someone who spends his life working with computers, I can tell you that you have entirely too much faith in computers and their programmers.
I'll believe that the O has some kind of programming to avoid the most common forms of collisions, but I am flat out telling you that it is eventually going to cut off a piece of itself by accident. The only way it couldn't is if the O has an advanced AI onboard whose entire job is to prevent the O from fucking itself up, or if the programmer was literally omniscient.
>It`s big and clunky, and I love it
Even if you feel compelled to shitpost, the least you could do is not put words into people's mouths. You dumb cocksuckers.
Why do people lie about The O? It doesn't have a super strong beam rifle. The Zeta and Shiki have better beam rifles. The MK II barely has a weaker one. The only advantages it has are being fast and the Biosensor which is just another name for plot.
