It's why a lot of the male leads in it were so pretty (Alto, Brera and Luca, namely.)

Really, this and Frontier are kind of attempts at having a little something for everyone. Pretty dudes for the fujoshi, planes doing exciting things for folks like us and idol stuff for easy money.

I personally think the idea of a bunch of Code Geass rejects going to war with the NUNS forces is pretty neat. Prettyboy Space Knights aren't any more ridiculous than 7's parasitic space vampires from the 5th dimension though.

He allied with the Zabis, and he absolutely stabbed them all in the back. It's just in his heart of hearts he was never their dog and always had the final destination of Zabi-murdering as his motivation for everything. So in his mind, it's not a betrayal even though objectively it totally is.

I mean, he's happy with his young wife by this point, total bros with Amuro, and living it out uncaring about Zeon politics. Drop some rock on Earth? Heck no. Would make his wife sad that she can't visit all the nice places on Earth anymore. Newtype frame? Unless it's going into his car so that he can ensure the safety of himself and his wife by expanding his Newtype senses while driving, he doesn't need it.

I kind of wish we actually got a happy Char, and am hoping that IBO does give us the closest thing to what a happy Char would be like, where he doesn't have to hide his face, or seek blind revenge.
