I dunno if I would call the dread power armor, since the guy inside is essentially a torso and head, he can't get out of it in any reasonably normal fashion, he essentially IS the machine. Dread's are more like... cyborgs? lol I dunno maybe I'm reading into it to much, it happens when I'm smoking. They are cool regardless, especially Venerable Dreads due to all dat bling.

On PC its considered more overpowered, since you can bounce around to avoid being hit by other guns while still keeping the enemy in your lock on sight Mich more easily; you can also aim down sight and pop them if you need.

On console the scene is a bit slower so its not as OP.

Ive always kinda hated ShimeringSwords art when it comes to mechs. Everything in his pictures, except the mechs themselves look great.

He tends to take a good design, and then uglify it by making it be this big mass of straight blocks and hard edges, losing any of the crazy angles or curves a design had.

Like he'll take a mech with "curvy" legs, where they legs are thinner at the joints, and the leg tapers down thinner at the ankles, and make it super beefy and blocky, basically giving all his mechs cankles.

I hate it.

Davide White, PLOG, and Flying Debris are at the top of my list though.

After being kicked out of the Homeworlds by the Snakes, losing a shit ton of materiel, Warriors and civilians in the process, taking further losses from WoB sabotage in the Inner Sphere, and having to build new industry up nearly from scratch in a Periphery backwater, the Ravens weren't very well off. It took them time to get their shit up and functioning at all.

The Ghost Bears, Diamond Sharks and Jade Falcons all had established industry and infrastructure. The Hells Horses had to start in the IS almost from scratch but they left the Homeworlds in much better order than the Ravens. The Wolves were fucked because all their mech production had been in the Homeworlds and then they were completely cut off from it, so they were as badly off as the Ravens for a time, though the Wolves had a bigger touman.
