My only problem with that is the fact that Platinum Games action titles are frequently more humorous and lighthearted. Zone of the Enders is super cereal dramatic. The style of gameplay would be appropriate for them, but I'm not sure they could properly capture the tone of ZoE.
They don't have to write it. Platinum could develop the systems and KojiPro could write.
Z.O.E. 2 has to have one of my favorite endgames ever. That battle on Mars where you help repair damaged comrades, and then you see that last huge wave of enemies on the radar screen. The last battle with Anubis. The Vector Cannon and the Zero Shift.
I don't know where a sequel would go, though. The last game tied a lot of stuff up. Either BAHRAM's near-success leads to increased oppression from the Earth, or the Enders are disappointed their part in stopping BAHRAM hasn't gained them respect. I'd like to be able to play as Frames from the anime and the Game Boy game. Idolo, Dolores, Hathor. But what I really want is...
Metal Gear Solid VI: Metatron: Zone of the Enders. "Yes, yes, I know, you'd like to know how long. I'm afraid it's been... one-hundred and sixty years."
ZOE 3 concept stuff that was revealed (before the HD collection's shit sales torpedoed it) showed that it might've been some weird-ass ancient civilization stuff. For all we know we would've been playing as the actual gods Jehuty and Anubis in Kojima's version of Ancient Egypt.
I actually loved the fact that there was a happy ending that felt legitimate. It would have been easy to sacrifice Ada at the end but they didn't. And Im glad for that
obligatory ken tits
Are the bosses supposed to have an absurd amount of health on normal in ZOE2 or was I not doing something I was supposed to? I ended up just playing through the game on easy and throwing all the things.
I remember taking 20 minutes to defeat the Vic Viper
My understanding is that that was an attempt to appeal to foreign markets, who they thought would like mythological fantasy more than mecha sci-fi. I can't remember where I read that. Sounded insulting though. I also thought that Z.O.E. 3 was still on the table, even if the fantasy setting wasn't.
she just needs some of the d to take the edge off. I have documented evidence of such a thing
Oh thank you, I never had a picture of this one so cool.
Have some Anubis.
It's not really love, nor life.
More like it's Hate and Death
