No-one in show has complained about the batteries or indicated that they produce less than sufficient power for mobile suits at any point. And if the G-Self can run on them, there's no reason to believe that they're bad really, given that it can smack around Elf-Bulls, equip backpacks that even advanced suits like the Wuxia can't and run without issue for the entire series so far.

These aren't SEED batteries - they're actually good by the looks of things, and it's not looking likely to change.

I wonder if they keep on trying to investigate them with remote-controlled robots. Those Harobe aren't violating the taboo. Keep on building those, installing manipulators in them, and sending them into their suicide missions for the advancement of Earthnoid technology.

It's referring to the time in UC when there were major foot shortages and dustbowls. They had already started to eat each other and create a new caste just for eating new humans. For their last hope, they recruited a man named Rust among other people to fly a spaceship into a wormhole into another galaxy. Everyone is still waiting for them to come back. So in the mean time, they hold on to the power of love to bring them all back.
