The carcase of mythological monsters that they kill on their journey would be savaged and used to create new mechanical knights and enhance the current existing mechanical knights.
So much Attack of the titan with Dragon monster knights, but i like this kind of setting.
i like a lot the dragon mecha that you posted.

It's a comedy having fun poking at all the tropes in mecha/sentai/magical girl tropes.
Sounds like it'd be a nice game plot.
The Shinrabansho series has some pretty awesome designs for a trading-cards-with-chocolate-wafer franchise.
Posting a "serious" one.

Mobile Suit Gundam F95 : ????????
SNRI - in reality the space Jews Anaheim Electronics - were up to something. Following the defeat of some faggot in a metal mask, the warmongers took warmongering to a whole new level.
Inspired by the somehow hidden history of UC 0096, they sough to rewrite history - literally. The scientists experimented with time-travel and weird space trip magic mushrooms. The fruit of this was the Formula 95 - or Gundam "Fuck shit up" - capable of travelling back in time and change the course of the Universal Century as we know it. Except that it can't go past 0083. Nobody can fix that mess.
The year is UC 0120. Pilot Job John and F95 execute Operation "Be No More".
never know anon, /m/ produces really cool OC every once in a while.
Dragon Wars. Just like Rail Wars and Crossange, except it's JSDF cadets vs dragons.
In a future where drone tech, miniaturization, and object compression has allowed compression of objects up to the size of cars into nothing more than tiny spheres or cubes that can be held in your hands, the hottest sport in legal and illegal venues is Machine Fight, which use said technologies to allow individuals and teams to create car-sized mechs that go head-to-head against other mechs and their creators.
i just found out about this story in danbooru, it's pretty good
Something something tropical catgirls in mechs. It goddamn sells itself.
Maybe steal that CATastrophe setting from /tg/ and have a bunch of catgirls salvaging lost tech from a flooded earth, one of which finds an old mech and restores it for WATERWORLD ADVENTURES!
>Write Mecha Plot
>need some inspiration
Seventh Sanctum, the page of generators, has alllll sorts of random generators. Characters, mecha, weapons, teams, stories, names, plots, spells, quests, wrestling moves... ENJOY.
oh it's one of those generators isn't it
my favorite android artist
An autonomous weapon cast into a scrapyard when there is no war left to fight meets an old android who carries vital data.
As the android helps repair the tank they must hide in a city sized junkyard from mechanical bounty hunters trying to track her down, fighting to survive and find fuel and parts.
Industrial Warrior Bogart. A story of heavily armored mechs and their pilots trying to rebuild their town while being attacked by the bandits of the week.
Focuses on a Yazuka family in a futuristic Japan in which different Yazuka families are pretty much the ruling body; having different people on all levels of government in their pockets.
The story focuses specifically on two Yakuza families; the wealthy daughter of a business-oriented family and the son of a military-affiliated family, and who is a mecha pilot. The two of them are betrothed to each other by both families in order to cement their alliance.
Much of this would be pretty straightforward SoL; in the sense of seeing the son balancing his days training, dueling rival family forces (in a sort of mecha-based equivalent of a localized turf war), and spending time with his fiancee. And the same for the daughter, who we'd follow as she balances managing the family's business interests, spending time with her fiance, and spending time with her friends.
The series would have them as college students and already a close couple. It's more of what they have to deal with together and individually that the story would focus on.
So Custom Robo the animation?
Don't get me wrong. I would pay a metric fuckton for something like that, but what your premise for a fake show makes me think of Custom Robo.
Giant ass battle ship
Legend of Dat ass
The story is fucked up. It could be 7 hours of a giant monster waving it's giant dick around tokyo, or wherever the fuck. Or maybe it's trying to be the next gendam written by fucking Hayao Miyazaki and drawn by God. Seriously does anybody care? We all know why you are here. Two words: Dat Ass. 105,000 episodes of tight leather swimsuit class 'battle suits', and more girls than you could shake a stick at.
Get ready to fap.
In my idea, I'd expect the male lead to have at least one, if not two close buddies, given the family element. One would definitely be a pilot wingman, the other probably an intel officer that violates some regulation by utilizing a bit of the military's resources in keeping track of his friend's fiancee (only when she leaves her Yazuka clan's primary sphere of influence, and on his friend when he and his fiancee are together) and keeping the male lead notified, since after all, there are other rival clans that might want to weaken the alliance.
In a solar system on the stages of recovering from a system war that was going to wipe humanity from all corners of the 8 worlds, The United Sol Alliance tasks bounty hunters to look and hunt down the remaining fractions who once nearly brought humanity to extinction.
Cue in our two heroes, one is a disgruntled Bounty Hunter who hunts many of the factions for both profit and to clear his own past as a commando who has taken down cities. The other, a newly activated ground mech suit with an AI that barely knows much of the universe except for what it's mission is, to follow and take orders whoever activates it.
The show would be sort of Buddy Cop antics that jump from world to world, capturing reminant groups on the furthest worlds and stations. The two having issues with one another, the Bounty Hunter thinking the mech is an annoyance and too bulky to have in missions and the mech hating its 'pilot' but cant leave sue to its hardwired programming. But eventually the two would end up trusting one another for the Bounty Hunter to pilot the mech and use its full capabilities.
There would be world building as well, looking into the recovering system, the empire that rises from the ashes and the remnants feelings on the matter.
My Daily Life is a Hazard to Survive!
Each day, a new threat to our protagonists' lives arrives. This would pretty much be something of a parody of the usual MotW formula, where instead of focusing on the giant robot or monster that's attacking the city, we focus on the civilians as they have to put up with this shit, and sometimes, it's the monster that ends up having to save the day. Hilarity and hijinks ensue.
For example; the first day, an unmanned military prototype meant to augment the exhausted defense force runs amok, tearing through businesses and homes and ends up targeting our hapless protagonists, mistaking some stuffed toy charm on her bag as an actual monster.
Or another day; a new pilot to the defense force tries too hard to prove himself in combat against a fresh monster; but ironically causes more damage to the surroundings than the monster ever did. Of course, said pilot ruins the business one of our protags was working at, and is finally stopped when the young monster ends up feeling our protagonist's frustration and stress and eventually manages to wreck the new pilot's machine, and disappear.
Y'know if you're a halfway decent writer you could probably put this together and throw it up somewhere online, make a bit of coin from banner ads and shit. Maybe find a guy to do illustrations if you wanna go LN style with it.
a civil war gets the country in a big mess.
the offensive faction, relies on drone robots (no tripulated, autonomous) taking fight against a corrupt governement
shits get worse: the war has a dead point, and the civils , who doesn`t take part, are suffering the consequences.
>no space shit, no crazy superprototypes
>not only pilots, programers and a lot of people get the light on the plot.
and you expect some pixiv pic?, keep deluded.
>A 30 minute OVA by Takahashi and Oshii.
Except that it's not really the same.
Bri is human, he's just heavily 'wared.
He may look like a military killbot but his heart, his soul, his tears are all very much human.
Also apparently he's "fully functional and anatomically correct" since according to Shirow he and Deunan do indeed have sex.
When Xiaomu is swept away in a series of mysterious, uncontrolled dimensional portals, Reiji is forced to jump through them and chase after her, making allies and enemies alike. All the while uncovering a deeper, underlying menace that threatens everything in existence.
Includes Xiaomu-sensei! extra clips after each episode's credits.
Damn, when I was making up the story I never heard much of Appleseed, kinda creepy how close I got to it. Might need to take a look into it, seems like a few fun movies.

A series of short stories about husband and wife team of synth-doctors.
Literally the pic's name in Pixiv
A gynoid wakes up in a deserted city. Not being able to recall any instructions or purpose, wander aimlessly until it finds a meaning by taking care of the sole survivor of this mysterious apocalypse - a giraffe from the zoo. With only a buggy and a piece of power armor, she must fight the perils of stray robots and collapsing buildings.
A combined race of humans and dragonic beings not much taller than humans, and any and all half-breeds i-between, decide to spread their will and might across the heavens.
The dragons are the real beings in power, and humans are just their willing servants (insert long-winded history of conquering, brainwashing, religious devotion, etc here).
A slice of life show that takes place in the seaside town of Dahkin. Citizens of Dahkin utilize mecha for most tasks, such as fishing, undersea exploration, construction, and other harbor based activities. Leiah is a young girl who lives in Dahkin and is struggling to decide what she wants to be when she grows up. She decides to help out various citizens in town and discover her passion. Each episode would be about her tackling a new job with the help of her trusty mech, Lahbustarr.
A heavy metal romp through a fantasy landscape, where our hero, the titular blast knight, slays monsters and secures the safety of the kingdom
None of his compatriots have seen him outside the suit, though...
Obvious plot twist is that the armor itself is alive and when the evil that gave him life descends to the kingdom, he stands up to his so called father to save his human friends
For years, he was laughed at, ridiculed, and shunned. His right-hand man took over his company and, in time, his wife. When they said that his grand idea would never work, he ignored them. When the shareholders withdrew further funding, he use his own wealth to complete it. Eventually, he and his project was forgotten.
It would be years later when it arose. The first fully operational mech utilizing highly experimental technology. It's AI was alive; it saw the suffering its master went through to complete it and it's machine body. Once its master finally connected it to the grid to leech off energy for its awakening, it did so without regard for the world that forsook its master. In the chaos, it arose from the forgotten warehouse, heading to its master. The first thing its master did was cry and yell for joy. His brainchild lived.
This sad story is about a forgotten military project doing all that it can to make its master happy, which meant taking out all those who had wronged him. It didn't recognize the madness in his master; the way he always called it a good boy as he cleaned up the armor and ensuring it was at 100% operational efficiency. It didn't recognize or understand that his master had broken in the end. All it understood was that its creator and master was happy with it always returning to him, and so it continued to carry out its targeted killings.
Something along the lines of Break Blade, except all that has survived was the endoskeletal frame of ancient machines and their internal equipment. However, the natives having no means to replicate the armor, end up using carved rock slabs.
this has been done.
Not so much a story idea as it is a story element idea. Basically, I was thinking about taking some of the Japanese monster lore, but add mechs bestowed upon each tribe by some ancient demon king. Like a Yuki-onna tribe who are relatively pacifistic, but does sometimes get involved with rival tribes over land or resources.
I'm thinking something like Utawarerumono crossed with Vanguard Bandits, with a bit of Xenogears/Xenosaga tossed in.
