No one's stealing anything.

First off, Anime Sols offers the streams for free, with no ads or any other form of revenue, on their site. They don't lose money from people downloading the episodes.

Second, these rips being spread around means people who don't know about Anime Sols already will learn of their projects, giving them a chance to support the series. This is free advertisement for them.

Finally, Quarkboy actually know about this ripping and has outright said he doesn't see it as a negative.

Have you even heard of the site? Up until now their business model has been to take pledges for DVD releases of these series, with the streams acting as advertisement for the content that will be on the DVDs. If the pledge goal isn't met, they'll stop subbing future episodes.

Recently they've started a second model, here they'll upload streams of 3 episodes, and then take pledges towards continuing to sub.

For both models, the streams are entirely free to watch, and act as previews for what they hope you'll be paying for. Whether you watch the episodes on their site or elsewhere doesn't make any difference for them. The streams are also region-locked to the US and Canada, meaning everyone else will need proxies or rips to watch them at all.
