Asuka's secret route is canon route as far as I can tell. And in that route Sakura and Murasaki are revived - or just outright never killed and turned into demons - and Asagi doesn't get corrupted, and Asuka helps Asagi kill Black Jack or whatever his name is. The ending has Kiryu working for the Taimanins to help reverse what happened to Asagi's fiance IIRC.

Oh, but Ingrid gets turned into a whore for demons by evil Oboro, and what I think to be the original Oboro (who is a good guy from what I could tell) gets killed while fighting Black.

No mention of the girls from Taimanin Yamikaze.

Then that's extra sad, because the first opening is at least half panning across stills and using clips from the show itself. And then large chunks of it are constantly reused for the later OPs. In fact, I think there's even a shot or two reused for a Destiny OP...

By comparison, 00 has not even a single repeating frame in any of its 4 openings, Turn-A only reuses the very last shot in both OP's (in fact, that might even be re-drawn for the second one), and even G only reuses the effect of the beam ropes activating, just in a different background.

Also I think all 3 of those series are better in general. And I like their OPs more. For the most part. (I'm not terribly fond of the last 00 opening)

Well, there were 2 versions of the 1st opening. The 2nd proper opening uses the sequence introducing the 4 kings, changing timing and layering slightly. They also recut and extended the Master Asia martial arts sequence to be longer and have him face off against Schwarz Bruder. The ended of the second opening is the sequence from the first ending with a God Gundam plastered in the corner.

That's just what I can remember off the top of my head. Still, it's probably 3/4 new animation, with the rest recomposites or extended sequences.
