Looking for a mecha anime where a guy on foot fights robots with a huge sniper rifle, he doesn't have a robot, and i think there's an episode that takes place in a crashed ships near-vertical hallway

Is this the /m/ version of that "reminder that Son Goku is beautiful" /a/ meme?
>>15767088
No, Jerid just deserves more love.
I haven't started a thread in over three years so this might take some getting used to.
Let's say we wanted a robot capable of working in areas usually filled with people. They need to use human hardware (Such as guns) and man human vehicles (Such as cars), but otherwise they can stuff in/remove as many features as they want.
What exactly would they look like? Would they be heavily armored, or skeletal in appearance? How human would they look? What would their head look like? I'd prefer to have real-life references, if possible.
Also, apparently FEDOR can fire guns, so maybe that's a good starting point?

>>15766475
I like digitigrade legs and opposable pinkies as well, but I don't think they're realistic yet.
>>15766475
Picture of FEDOR with Glocks.
This is something I feel should be responded more with satire than anything, but at the same time it's kind of fascinating.
Anon, form follows function - namely setting will decide its look
Is it a mass produced service bot? Chances are it'll be skeletal due to its disposability, maybe exposed wires and light durability armoring around vital parts
Is it a robotic bodyguard/law enforcement/neo yakuza/military weapon? Chances are it'd be bulked up in armor (unless disposable soldiers are the style, they'll likely have cheap human flak jackets or ballistic armor)
Are they friendly units, as in designed to not worry humans? If not made to look human, they'd likely be slim, low armor and curved
Consider reality - if you were trying to sell a service bot, would it look like your op picture while for a war bot, that look would be perfect. A good idea of a consumer bot is the ipadtastic irobot units, sleek high tech but 'soff' enough visually to not ruin the plot..at least until their color change...
RAWs where?

>>15766289
Why are you giving freedom to the Feddie Loyalists? You're supposed to be fighting them.
>>15766289

***READ THE GUIDE***
For those new to gunpla/plamo or even just new to this thread; please read the guide. Please read it before asking questions, as there is a chance it has already been answered there.
For those unfamiliar, "plamo" is a shortened form of "plastic model". If it's made of plastic, someone can probably help you here!
If you're new, you're gonna fuck up. Don't worry! If you're experienced, don't make the new people worry!
>Why won't anyone answer my question?
Try being specific, especially about your materials and process. Post pictures whenever possible; even if the kit/part looks bad, you are more likely to get help posting pictures.

THICK MS GROUPBUILD ==
Build a kit of your choice that's heavily armored, and thick in the thighs/arms/torso/general area. Examples include:
>Dom + Dom Variants
>The O
>Virtue/Seravee Gundams
>Gusion/Man Rodis
>Full Armor gundams (If they're heavily armored, and not guns strapped everywhere like the FA Unicorn)
Non-Bandai kits are allowed, so feel free to whip out a Frame Arms kit or something and work with that as long as you make it thicc as fuck.
Start Date: 6/15
End Date: 8/31

Would Leonardo da Vinci have been a good mecha designer?
>>15766050
Better than Ebikawa.
>>15766062
Ebikawa's made good stuff though.
My only compaint is that he needs to play around more with silhouettes and gimmicks.
But that's probably not happening since he tends to work on producing more """tactical""" designs

>made a man-robot, a lion-robot and a bat-robot, but failed to make a combiner.
He'd be shit.

It's out today.
Anyone have any opinions?
The scale the Titans are at makes them look as though they could pass as VOTOMs. Other than that, no.
Man, it was neat, but Char having the wrong voice pissed me off.
People saying it is real Char because he's voiced by actual Char instead of the masked man we all know as Char who has a connection with Amuro and Lalah pisses me off way more.

this reeks youtube comments or/and ANN
>>15765732
can you be even more stupid? The Ballistic Zaku is based on the Origin Zaku II, Toshihiko Seki (the guy who played Char Aznable in Origin alongside Ikeda as Casval) has a right to play Char because this episode is one huge meta joke.
This is Lt. Agar the pilot of the Mudrock Gundam.
Say something nice about him.
Mold grows really well on him.
