Mine is as well. I'm just saying that that's not 80s anime. Merely an extreme outsider whereas any normal show in the 80s looked completely different.
It's basically like pointing to Kimi No Na Wa and claiming it's the style of 2010s anime, which is bull because it's a high-budget movie production.

Dougram, VOTOMS, Vifam, Xabungle, Ideon and just about anything else aside from experimental projects was completely flat-shaded.

Shading in normal mecha shows is a sign of the 90s, not 80s.

Why does gundam need saving? The model kit sales are doing just fine.

I'd be interested to see his take on Gundam.

A fine choice. Top end, but for me, 0083 is my favorite. Top-notch hero GMs, backstabbery on both sides, and the tour of the interwar UC universe.

I actually started doing it for myself a few times, but only ever got up to episode 7 before losing interest.

The new encodes he uses are very minutely different than the ones OZC used, so the timing isn't completely off, but only by a few seconds or milliseconds depending on the scene. That's what makes it frustrating, as you'll think shifting the entire thing by a few milliseconds so it links up would work, but it doesn't. You'll have to go through each line and manually time it, which is time consuming and, like I said, frustrating.

You'll also need to change the fonts for the dialogue, opening and ending karaoke. I also recall the first 5 episodes were resubbed by someone else who was originally in charge of the project but couldn't finish it either. They also made some changes to the script - just fixing bits that were awkward or poorly phrased in the original translations - which I would say is generally the most important part of the project.

If the ones in here >>15786801 work then I'd say a better use of your time would be putting the resub scripts of ZZ to the recent bluray rips that are out there and aren't in ordered chapters like [EG]'s release. I love RX, but I will forever loathe him for that stupid fucking habit of his.

Honestly would of prefer it added to the next G Gen game. Hell, if Overworld did all those UC side mangas. Imagine the next G Gen with scenerios from Hooligans/Katana, MSV-R manga, Gundam Legacy

Newtypes are rare as fuck and the tech for even stuff like INCOM is expensive and hard to use. Focus shifted to stuff the average pilot could use rather than super prototypes that only a handful of pilots can use. So instead of stuff like funnels that rely on psycowaves or INCOM that relies on a skilled pilot you get stuff like the biocomputer.

I tried on two separate occasions to get into this series, but I just could not give a damn about what was happening. It's a shame because I really liked the mecha designs.

It's just not for you. Try Twilight Axis. It has char and lalah cameos so you know it's good.
