Goddamn Encounters in Space was a Fun game.

wish that the spiritual sequel UC Climax was more fine tuned before release.

Did anyone ever sync the dub up with the BD PS2 cutscenes?
Fucking stupid. What was the actual point of adding more fold out collar and shoulder cosmetics? It never had to look like a lion to begin with, just the Unicorn's sister unit.
>>15805834
Yeah, why would the sister unit to a unicorn ever be a lion? That just doesn't make any sense.
>>15805834
In-character they're additional psychoframe antennas to help spread the psychofield physics-warping effect. Out of character it's a reference to the royal coat of arms of the United Kingdom, which bears a lion and a unicorn flanking the shield. There's also a British children's rhyme of the lion and the unicorn fighting. So if you wanted something that was considered an opposite of a unicorn, and that would fight against it, a lion makes sense.

You haven't see the rabbit and goat gundams yet
Oookay, I have decided that it I will encode 0080's BDs once they are released this week. I have read up on guides on a few private trackers being AB and UHDbits and I er THINK I understand what to do. I'm mainly doing this because 0080 is one my favourite shows of all time.
I have read up on our lord and saviour's guide too https://rxmastering.wordpress.com/video/ . Although I installed a bunch of shit like avisynth and have no fucking clue what to do with it. I heard you can use it in a GUI or command interface (I'll use a GUI since I'm retarded), but I don't know what GUI to use Avisynth with. Don't really want to use handbrake since that isn't "true" encoding apparently.
Also for any encoding autists out there, what PC specs are recommended? I'm sure my pc will be fine but I'm curious.
I have never encoded before but I believe that I'll be able to do well on this, achieve transparency and improve off the source.
>>15805825
Poke around the msubs IRC on rizon, see if Bunnyhat or someone's on and can give a few tips? Might not hurt to do a few test encodes while waiting to 0080 isos to pop up.
Best of luck, anon.
>>15805842
Thanks
>test encodes
I should actually try that, you're right. Thanks
Read this too https://iamscum.wordpress.com/encoding-stuff/
>their souls are weighed down by Earth's gravity
Literally what the FUCK did he mean by this?
people are preventing themselves from becoming newtypes by staying on earth
>>15805636
This. He strongly believes people can only become newtypes by moving up into space
>>15805636
See, everyone? Be like this guy. Quit asking the same stupid question.
say what you will about IBO but they did a good job of doing a whole "ONI?!" thing. the way mika pilots like a wild beast is dope .. what other shows have there been where the mecha or the pilots have been or devolved into demons

I think Al from FMA's mask, while cute, is supposed to look like a demonic head.

That's a big gun
over 25 thousand feet long..... is that bigger than the Super Star Destroyer from the original trilogy?
I need help. I have an itch for a /m/ game that is like the old Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operations. I tried Gundam Breaker 3 but it was missing something, it didn't feel like each machine you used was different. Mostly looking for you can only get specific suits that play different from each other but you can recolor them.
Also any other good /m/ games.
This is unironically one of my favorite /m/ games. Sure, its ugly, and sure, it runs like shit, but it gives the MSs a really nice weight and clunkiness. A bit like the first couple of AC games.
It makes sense that OYW MS would be pretty hard to control well. You feel like a total badass when you get a hang of it though.
I say give it a go if you can get it for cheap
>>15806622
Agreed.
TiS is great in terms of feel, you just have to get past the myriad of glitches and performance issues. After that, it feels like one of the most rewarding Gundam games. Also don't play it in a blind run-and-gun fashion, the amount of cringeworthty YouTube videos of people fucking up on this game and going "hurr this sucks" is maddening, there's a surprising amount of strategy you need to consider that the game doesn't tell ypi about. I basically learned of the best way to utilise the AI pilots through repeat plays after initially dismissing them as an underdeveloped afterthought (the lack of visible prompts will be an issue but you learn to work with it).
It's definitely got its share of issues but I think if you're into the more technical side of OYW suits produced up to the point of MS IGLOO you'll enjoy it.
>>15806678
You really have to play smart and consider tactics when you start out. Its super rewarding the first time you beat those 3 tutorial Zakus without taking a hit.
Its honestly really underappreciated. It came out around the same time as AC:FA and mecha game people were geared for /FAST/, not slow and meticulous.
The way missions work is also really great. The time limit makes you have to take big decisions regarding your pilots and suits
Did we like this, /m/? Did they finally have a proper depiction of Mobile Infantry Armor?
>>15805118
Is this on Netflix yet?
>>15805118
>>15805118
Can you read the book before calling some generic tacticool halo rip-off a "proper depiction" of the armor?
>>15805127
Looks like the book's armor to me
Was there a point to their cameos?
How do you feel about them?
>>15804941
Pointless should have been killed off by the Titans would have made the show less shit.
>>15804941
Beltorchika is still hot.
a Hathaway cameo would've been godtier though.
>>15804941
They just want to remind you that Kai gets exclusive dicking rights to Sayla after the origin epilogue.
Is there a single power armor that can defeat the Octopussy?

It doesn't help that getting the Blu-ray raws and subs got a smidgen harder after the Nyaapocalypse.

Thanks, Putin-sama!
I really loved ANT's animation and aesthetic.
Also, how do those guys at sakugabooru know who animated what?
>>15804175
Depends. Sometimes it's just how obvious an animator's quirks/drawing style is. Other times they're confirmed by another person who was part of the staff or through an artbook/other source.
>>15804175
imo the new ANT stuff and original zeta are both great but the quality whiplash gets bad at points
