So, apparently shortly after the Mechanical Violator Hakaider movie came out, Sega created a game for the Saturn that was a direct sequel to it. The story was written by Inoue, and is considered to be a canonical sequel to the movie as a result. From what I can tell, it's a pretty basic arcade shooter (despite only being for the CD), but there's a plot that involves more re-imagined characters, mostly from 01-- for example, Waruder's apparently a boss in the game, and you fight against versions of the Hakaider Squad. Also Gurjev from the movie put his brain in Blue Hakaider, so that's pretty interesting.

Unless there's a story translation online, though, then if you don't speak Japanese you won't get the plot. Does anyone here know anything else about the game? I'm really curious.

Did anyone else go into Gundam 00 thinking it was going to suck, but end up loving up it too?

when i first saw animation, I thought it was going to be like SEED (which wasnt as bad as everyone says, but still one of weakest shows)...but 00 turned out to be phenomenal.

The Overworld translation project is winding to a close. The initial release will be very soon, possibly in just a matter of hours. As the primary reason for not doing an early release was to avoid the project being shut down before completion, I feel it fair to give a bit of early access.

I am not the one who made this patch. The team over at GBAtemp worked extremely hard on this. I'll take this link down once the release Google Drive is made public, at which point I urge you to use that link instead. They deserve all of the credit and accolades you could give. I didn't contribute much to the project at all, despite being in the credits.
