I saw it already in theaters back in September, but I'll definitely buy this, especially since it's a billingual release.

What I'm hoping is that, if it does well, Shout Factory might release subbed sets of the older series.

It's a pretty mindless clusterfuck with over-the-top fanservice.

Spooked some normies with it once, they barely got through the 2nd episode, it was hilarious.

It's a horrible mess, but it's an entertaining mess.

Pick any 1/144 or 1/100 kit from the Graze family (Pic Related), and paint and customize it. As far as customizing it, I'm going to place a limit on that. The limit is 50% additions to the kit.
To define 50%, look at it like this, you could take a Graze Ritter and replace the arms (including shoulders), legs, and backpack and I'd call that 50%. I'm not counting handheld bits in that. If you're unsure of something please ask in IRC, the thread, or email.

Mediocre at best, boring at worst. It's playing things too safe and feels like its clearly aiming to. I would rate it just below Frontier honestly and it's a series that I feel can be ignored for people who want to go through the whole Digimon franchise.

I was hoping it would be more Rockman.exe but it ended up more like Yokai Watch with a splash of Arc V which is what I feared. Gatchmon/Dokomon are great and some action/designs are alright, but most of the elements are extremely weak and bordering bad.

It's not 02 or YH bad, but it's at best tied with frontier in the hit or miss/poorly executed spectrum of Digimon shows.

The robots in Gridman weren't very articulate, though, which is why they're not used very often compared to Gridman just wearing them as suits. Gridman's powered up modes relatively mobile mobile because the armors don't really cover his elbows and knees. You can even see the uncovered knees in >>15192832.

My goal is to watch it all in the order that it was released, but it seems kind of difficult to make sure I'm keeping track of it all.

There are a lot of obscure short films and picture dramas and certain series have 'remastered' episodes and the gundam wiki is kind of balls about laying it all out.

I'll do my best though...
