Thoughts?
Rie Takahashi as Ernesti "Eru" Echevarria, a talented programmer in his previous life, now reincarnated into a fantasy world. He uses his mecha otaku knowledge to the fullest in an effort to make his own ideal Silhouette Knight.
Ayaka Ohashi as Adeltroot "Adi" Alter, Eru's childhood friend. She has a weakness for cute things, and always hugs Eru as if he were a stuffed toy. Kid is her twin brother
Shinsuke Sugawara as Akidd "Kid" Alter, Eru's childhood friend. He learned magic from Eru when they were children, and he has grown in power and combat ability ever since. Adi is his twin sister.
Naive princess or criminal mastermind?
A thread died for this
>>15315285
Why won't you let people discuss the C.E. in peace? I get that it's bad, but you don't have to post that everytime somebody makes a thread pertaining to SEED and SEED Destiny.
>>15315283
Mastermind princess. The reading of her as a hidden power seeker trying to manipulate pieces to prepare the way for her ascension ignores events (like refusing power when it's initially offered) and is really just people trying to make the character more interesting rather than anything supported in either show.
>>15315285
So what? No thread is sacrosanct and they'd all be pushed off shortly anyways. If they're on page 10, it's for a reason. Whether because they're done, because few people were using them or because they'd past limits. Acting like a thread has to be personally satisfactory to exist is silly.
Ultraman Zeed silhouette revealed
I saw this too but the page that posted it didn't give a source for where they found it
Is this the Ultraman for a new show?
>>15315305
no, it's a fake.
So is there any logical reason Britannia made the female pilot uniforms so inefficient? Or was this just the artist idea for fanservice purposes only?

It's not just about armor, there's no way for them to carry a side arm or any weapon should it come down to them leaving the cockpit.
Is there any updated on the 2nd bluray box being dubbed? Or any place to just torrent it without the dub? RX782 dubbed the first box, hope he's working on the second.
>>15312598
He is working on the second box and will get to it in time, but his actual job comes first. I think he said later this month or early next month he might be finished.
Speaking about G Gundam, could somebody if they have it, help seed this torrent because everyone is stuck at 96%.

I am, I am. I DO have some good news, mainly for myself.
Unlike my previous job, where I had local admin privileges to the OSX workstations, my current job is very strict with user permissions. A colleague of mine happens to have a local admin username and provided it to me a while back, but for some reason, Homebrew (and everything else) wouldn't install, so it was extremely difficult for me to get proper encoding software on the machines.
Last Friday, I finally got it to install, and have also sorted out some VapourSynth nonsense (again, made all the more complicated due to the permission bullshit), so I will begin encoding the remaining episodes at work yet again. Dual E5 Xeons, and no electrical cost on my part. Last month really hammered me more than I remembered, which kinda made me hesitate to blast through the remaining episodes again.
Would NGE have been "better" if the series had kept the tone of the first half of the show (i.e. Monster of the week, more comedic, characters growing somewhat) rather than dive head first into the dark and psychotic pool it did?
Would the show have been as successful or had such a lasting impact on the industry?
Can't say if it would have been as successful, but I would enjoy it more.

>Would NGE have been "better" if the series had kept the tone of the first half of the show (i.e. Monster of the week, more comedic, characters growing somewhat) rather than dive head first into the dark and psychotic pool it did?
It could have been a bit more entertaining, but it would have ended up a lot more dull. It would have become a fun but forgettable series.
>Would the show have been as successful or had such a lasting impact on the industry?
Hell no

The super robots vs aliens part of Eva and the psychological part of Eva should have been separated into two completely different series.
It would never have gotten famous that way, but that'd be a good thing, Eva's influence is fucking cancer.
What Wanzer is this on the cover for Front Mission 3? I have no idea what it is and it looks awesome, also Front Mission Thread what are some of the best Builds for FM3 and 4? How come the FM1 Sprites are so hard to find?
>>15302857
Isn't that the Zenith
>>15302857
You could cheese FM3 quite easily just by giving everyone a copy of Ryogo's starter Wanzer. It had good all-round performance, plus ROF Up I (for SMG and shottys) and Zoom I (for everything else).
The late game mechs you capture from the JSSDF and Imaginary Numbers are better, but Ryogo's win machine will carry you through 2/3rds of the game easily.
Does anyone else find the squad selection mechanics in 5 kind of a letdown? I mean, there are huge numbers of recruitable pilot characters, but with the exception of the main cast and the FM4 cameo none of them have their own dialogue, and given pilots in a class are only functionally distinguishable by their personality type (which isn't a huge deal, as long as they're not Aggressive you're fine) and whether or not they're S type, which just entails one class specific skill and a trade off of jamming resistance for jamming recovery. That's it, no individual stats, no individual skills, almost nothing to distinguish all these dozens of people. Valkyria Chronicles this ain't. Hell, it isn't even X-COM.
What makes it worse is the fact that characters you haven't recruited will always be lower levelled than ones you've had for a while, so there's even less motivation to switch out. You can replace your hyper Aggressive starting squad and whoever you get will be flat out superior to any non-S pilot you could obtain by dint of sheer level curve, and most of the S-rank guys are behind that as well.
On top of all that is that you're supposed to have six slots, but a third of those are always taken up by Walter and a plot mandated mechanic, which both means you have even less space for other characters, and that the entire mechanic class is relegated to the bench (because more than one mechanic is just not really necessary, especially considering you could just stick a repair pack on some other class of pilot and have them heal about as good (considering almost all the mechanic skills are geared toward tanking).

How is the port of GB3 on the Vita?
Runs pretty nice most times, the only bits I had much lag were when using the GP02 nukes and the final boss.
It's also a pain to get the DLC with the Vita version due to no account switching.
It's pretty good. But if you're on 3.60 just pirate it (or buy it and dump it) so you can overlclock the CPU and gpu of the vita and it runs at a stable 30fps pretty much 99% of the time now. There are lots of dips on the vita version and the loading times are long. But I don't regret spending 70 or whatever it was when it came out on it.
>>15329263
And I forgot, if you do pirate it you can get and use all the DLC for free on your account and don't need to use a singapore or Indonesian account to play it.
