This might be because of my raging autism, but I get really ticked off whenever a pilot goes into battle without a helmet and/or uniform. I just think it's stupid when some kid wearing nothing but shorts and an undershirt pilots a state of the art mech. Does anyone else feel this way?

Do you think F91 would have had any actual potential as a series? The F91 itself is in my top 5 Gundams, and Seabook is a pretty decent MC. The Bio-Computer thing was also at least semi interesting, but the groundwork they had seemed a bit samey and uninteresting. I question the quality the series would have been if it hadn't had been snubbed so hard. Debatable whether it still would have been a better choice over Victory however....

I didn't really liked F91, but I was super insterested in everything about it, the setting the characters and general conflict, a shame everything felt so wasted with the limited runtime
I really want this to get a propper full lenght series remake, maybe 26 eps long instead of 50 because I dont feel this is a very long story in general.
Maybe if it was too long it would felt a lot like a 0079 reboot, which I think that was the point since it was supposed to be the start of a whole new series

So IBO's over and we're having a bunch of threads saying that it was both great and shit, but let's focus on one element.
What the fuck happened with Gundam Bael? It gets hyped up through the first half of S2, gets a cool Obari entrance pose, and then gets abused by a blonde chuuni for the rest of S2. It doesn't even have much going for it compared to the other Gundams, so I'm not sure what Macky was thinking of having it on the battlefield other than using it as a figurehead for his revolution

McGillis had bought into the romantic view of Agnika Kaieru and assumed most of Gjallarhorn had as well. Its purpose was political, though it seems to be a pretty good dueling machine on par with Kimaris (though the latter had a few more optimization passes for hot Gundam on Gundam action while Bael was likely using what had been good for fighting MA).
