Legilis was awesome. Vagan suit designs in general were pretty cool, had those rounded edges that made them look almost organic. But Legilis is honestly one of my favorite Gundam designs of all time.

I like you OP.
Let's say some organization vastly wealthier than even Disney purchases all /m/ related IPs and opens up a theme park with them.
What kind of rides would it have?
What kind of locations and attractions would you be able to visit?
What of the character actors walking around the street?
>tfw I go for a high-five with ELS Setsuna, and he gives me a hug instead.
>tfw the holographic light show starts up, and it's like seeing the intro videos to SRW but in real life

1:1 scale Gundams with catwalks leading up to the cockpit hatches, and each ones opens up to have full universe-accurate re-creation of the Gundam's cockpit inside. Once you enter and are locked in a Gundam Pod-esque game starts up where the "level" is a complete virtual re-creation of the surrounding area being attacked by Zeon. The interior cockpit is also hooked up to a rumble seat/hydraulics system like pic related synced up to the game so the rider feels like the Gundam is actually moving.
Spectators and people waiting in line can watch from screens outside to tease their excitement. And the "attack on the park" is randomly selected from a number of different scenarios with different objectives to keep things fresh and keep people coming back.
Have special promotions every once in a while were you can win prizes for getting certain scores or clearing within a certain amount of time or something.

The lines would be horrendous, but fuck I'd wait for them.
What's the strongest /m/ battleship?

No idea.
The Macrosses are up there though
pop idol not required.

Not a chance in fucking hell
Why does Gundam love these so much?
>>15406236
They look fucking cool when they're held by giant robots and thrown to make cool explosions.
>>15406236
Because Mobile Suit Gundam is WW2 Pacific Theater in space, so designs that evoke WW2-era tech are thematically appropriate.
Why don't you?
>Crusher Joe BD comes out.
I guess it is really great to be a newfag in our times.
What would be next, /m/?
So far, Dai Apolon will start getting BD sets, oddly enough.
go-shougun later this year apparently, which is pretty cool
I think it's the earliest super robot "parody"
>>15405687
Did we ever get a Dirty Pair BD?
Can we get a 4koma thread going? They are really fun to read
I'll post some as a start

***READ THE GUIDE***
For those new to gunpla/plamo or even just new to this thread; please read the guide. Please read it before asking questions, as there is a chance it has already been answered there.
For those unfamiliar, "plamo" is a shortened form of "plastic model". If it's made of plastic, someone can probably help you here!
If you're new, you're gonna fuck up. Don't worry! If you're experienced, don't make the new people worry!
>Why won't anyone answer my question?
Try being specific, especially about your materials and process. Post pictures whenever possible; even if the kit/part looks bad, you are more likely to get help posting pictures.

**MELEE GROUP BUILD**
Build/paint a robot with a loadout focused on melee combat! Anything from shields to swords to lances to axes to bare fists is fair game. There's no room for ranged weaponry here, however, so anything resembling a rifle, Rocket Launcher, cannon, pistol, or any other ranged weapon is a no-go (Small ranged weapons that are built into the kit itself like head vulcans are ok, however).
More clarification here:
>If the body part has a built-in ranged weapon (head/chest vulcans, claw beams, etc), then that's fine. If it's a separate part like the Alex's arm vulcans it's best to leave those off.
>Melee weapons with in-universe ranged capabilities (Like the Kimaris's lance or the Gyan's shield) are fair game too.
>Any scale and any brand is fair game here, you're not limited to just using Gundams this time around.
Send your entries to [email protected]
Start Date: 4/1
End Date: 5/31
Disaster, the paint was not fully cured before I put on the tape in order to paint the fine lines on. Upon removing the tape, the pain pulled off with it in some spots like tissue. Also I had some bleed in in other spots.
Twas a fun April fools merger with you guys here on /m/. On behalf of S/o/Cal, we cordially invite you /m/en to come drive with us on Saturday. We'd be honored if you magnificent bastards would join us.

A few of our guys either just got their cars back from the shop or got new cars. Here's to celebrate you fuckers, so let's do a pregame canyon run to test out your cars before the Palm Springs meet at the end of the month.
Plan is to leave by 8:00 to avoid all the lycrafags and traffic, get breakfast at Neptune's Net, then head back up the 23. All cars are welcome.

It's /o/tismo, but yes, these are regular events.
Now that the autistic screeching has settled what does /m/ think about Iron Blooded Orphans?I really didn't like the fact the Merribit got BLACKED at least twice. I honestly wished she was carrying Orga's babies instead it would of been proper and Akihiro should of been kissed by Lafter before she got shot down like Tupac and I am worried that Almiria is going to grow up with no husband or have one that isn't a Macky clone
>>15399376
Okayish. Good thing is it ended conclusively.
They never explained Mika spacing out those time when he chocked Gali and the MA activated.
>>15399376
My biggest complaint, especially about the last few episodes: Kimaris Vidar didn't use its dainsleif system at all... When the system could easily have been made into the awesome rapier spikes from Vidar.
Those extendable shields would have been perfect to hold the spare tips instead of the hip storage from Vidar.
Instead they wasted the idea on a stupid big lance that served no purpose, with a system they never used at all.
Other than that, the series was fine. Had some decent one shot moments of forced emotion that worked well enough, and had a few pretty cool moments... but the plot wasn't good overall, and relied too heavily on Barbatos and Mika for advancing things.
>>15399376
I liked it

I finished this last night. I enjoyed the ride but can /m/ tell me what the fuck that ending was?
>>15398991
>what the fuck that ending was?
A fucking cop out is what it was
>>15398991Kei and the other guy were full of time dimensional nonsense that affected space time because they were right by the dimensional bomb. So when they reached ground zero, the time stuff activated and sent them through space and time to right before the bomb detonated to face themselves. They then killed each other, thus causing the D bomb to never happen and sending everyone back to different timelines where all the happy endings happened.
At least that how I saw it.
I wish this show was as entertaining as its premise suggested. Instead, we get nothing but monotonous skirmishes against those lame red walker mechs over and over again with crappy love triangle BS on the side.

Too much clutter, needs more clean surfaces.
Ditch the glowing green bits and simplify the color scheme.

I find this sub genre fascinating. I loved Escaflowne as a child when it aired on Fox and over the last few years found myself getting more into Dunbine and Wings of Rean, Something like Nagano's Fiver Star Stories seems relevant as well, though I've only seen the OVA.
So Fantasy Mecha general I guess.

wait there are dragons in dunbine!? sweet

there's a fantasy mecha coming up in summer season I think
