Absolutely. It's a lot more lighthearted than Zeta, but not to the point people tend to claim it is, and if you can stand the fucking weirdo cybernewtypes and Katz, then Ple shouldn't be too hard for you.

Beyond that, Haman's pretty great, the female cast members are especially likable and the dumbass brigade gets better as time goes on, and all in all, I can honestly say it's got some of my favorite MS designs in the franchise.

Yes but it's incredibly hard to find and its really shitty. The MC is 14 but the dub makes him sound over 30.

I'd say yes. The events don't necessarily connect to Char's Counterattack but it does with Unicorn. The anime itself is pretty goofy in the first half but the second half is very good. It's worth at least one watch.

You mean Yellow Belmont? I'm not sure if his case even qualifies as stunt-casting. He had the whole separate acting-voice/singing-voice setup many later Macross characters used, just that his acting voice was a male one.

I'm not sure but I think it's implied the tower is an ancient artifact from UC and they just based their operations around it since it was still standing.

Technically there is the not so subtly named Ameria and some other countries we don't really see. One of them, Gondwan, is mentioned to be at war with Ameria in the background, which explanations Ameria's motivations for trying to monopolize the tower, and it explains why Gondwan provided a ship to the Capital Army. But it must not be serious since Ameria's full of fuckwits who just barely have their act together.

S2 was pretty messy in it's storytelling with all those pointless chartacters and unnessessary story arcs.It would have been way too late to shift the focus of the story from KANGS OF MARZ AN SHIIET and Muh Bael.Thus we are left with Galli sitting around the hangar for most of the season and doing bugger all besides spanking his monkey.

What is Triple Zero? What is Hakioh? And why would Gai take over from Taiga, who isn't even that old? It's not like Gai is even a particularly good candidate for the job, since he has no experience helping run operations and doesn't seem to have any interest in behind the scenes support. Mikoto seems a much more obvious choice. Swan or Geki would probably be better candidates too.
