It seems to me like IBO and Destiny are inverses of eachother. One has a pretty sound, grounded world and technology, few characters who might be annoying, but almost no one to root for or relate to. It is largely predictable, and few characters progress, and always in expected ways. Death, for the most part, sticks.
Destiny, on the other hand, has tons of characters with different levels of baggage to root for, but quite a few of them can come across as annoying. Character progression happens in unexpected ways, but not necessarily in ways that make them better people. Tech isn't that grounded, and almost no main character stays dead.
Compared in this way, it seems to me that Destiny will largely appeal to someone who doesn't like IBO, and vice versa. Thus, explaining the constant arguments. What do you think?

I think it's shitposting for the sake of (You)s under the guise of criticism by using the logical fallacy of deflecting by saying "well this one show is bad but at least it ain't as bad as this other show!"
There's no meaningful discussion to be had there. Just don't give them (You)s.
IBO is still better than both CE combined
Interesting idea, but no, it's one shitposter fishing for replies.
As somebody who liked the Cosmic Era in its entirety, I'll just say that the only shows I haven't really liked are G-Reco and IBO.
I know you'll hate me for this, and you're right to--the anime club for a local university wants to show 08 MS Team. Unfortunately, they're feeling particularly prudish, and are considering knocking it out of the running because of topless Kiki in ep. 2--and approached me about because of my known fondness of UC OVAs and TV series.
Anyone have any idea where I could find a censored version of this? Or should I plan to crack open Premiere Pro and drop a bunch of censor bars over her nipples?
Option 3: Make 'em watch My Neighbor Totoro instead.

I was under the impression that the painted on shirt version was done for toonami like with outlaw star. You might be able to find that version on youtube or something but it's unlikely.

Is it wrong that I wish Celestial Being were a real entity?
Especially during these tumultuous times?
They'd identify 4chan as a source of conflict and intervene to destroy it.
the world could use a Celestial Being desu..... wow thats a whole lot worse than i then i really realized
>>15554749
Did you have a stroke while typing?
how realistic is it for female pilots to leave their hair, hips and thighs fully exposed?
>>15553174
>realistic
there's that word again. and of course you just had to post godannar
>>15553174
You don't watch Godannar for realism, and realistically a pilot suit for women would look the same as it does for men.

You see, Baldrick, in order to prevent a war, two super blocs developed: the Federation, The Vist Foundation and Londo Bell on one side; and Neo Zeon, Side 3 and The Sleeves on the other. The idea was to have one side keep a hidden part of the constitution a secret and put it in a little box, preventing the other side from ever finding out that they got royally screwed. If things were kept a stiff upper lip, there wouldn't be a war.
Baldrick:
Except, well, this is sort of a war, isn't it?
Blackadder:
That's right. There was one tiny flaw in the plan.
George:
Oh, what was that?
Blackadder:
It was bollocks.
Baldrick:
So the poor old Unicorn died for nothing!

You even get a Bakusou Bike gashat.
Why didn't they just give Amuro a Zeta?
>>15558554
If we take Evolve into account, then he DID have a custom Zeta. Either he lost it or gave it up at some point.
If we're not, then that Re-GZ was all Londo Bell had to spare for Amuro for the 5th Luna encounter while the Nu was in development. Maybe he had to launch quickly and there was no time to request a better suit?
>>15558554
The Zeta was rekt at the end of ZZ by the Quin-mantha. Too expensive to repair.
The RE-GZ is actually a good mobile suit, as you can see at the beginning of CCA, Amuro was fighting evenly against Char in the Sazabi. The funnels and the psycoframe on the Nu gave Amuro more of an edge than the RE-GZ gave him.
>>15558725
The only advantage the Re-GZ has newer avionics and more maneuvering thrusters but less overall thrust. In every other way, it's inferior to the Zeta barring production cost, and also inferior to most of what NZ was fielding in the Neo Zeon war.
Why is Dozle green?
>>15558125
>not being green
shigga higga
Because Amuro is a Char
Ok, so let's do a little thought experiment:
Suppose the Tantive IV, post Rogue One, made a misjump into the Earth-Sphere (aka the UC version of the solar system) during Operation British.
Let's assume that they weren't followed by Darth Vader and that their hyperdrives would take at least six months to repair (their sub-light drives are still operational).
Question one is what their reactions would be to seeing Mobile Suits; question two is whether or not they would recognize that Side 2 was a space station of some sort; and question three is what would they do to stop the colony's descent to Earth.
Let the debates commence!oh god what have I done
>>15557606
What if they were followed though? Would The Empire just kill everything?
>>15557620
For the purposes of our experiment, the Tantive IV was *not* followed by Darth Vader, though the image of a Zaku II going up against a TIE Fighter is a pleasing one.
wouldn't humanity not even be around yet?
does the Tau in Warhammer 40k could insert in the Gundam serie ?
and if yes what series could adapt well with the Tau ?
Could you rephrase your question in proper English? I'm honestly not sure what you're asking.
>>15557504
well, do you think the Tau could be in a gundam serie or they would be an eyesore ?
and if they could be in a gundam serie what serie would it be ?
>>15557515
If Warhammer figurines weren't so horrendously expensive, I would buy some Tau kits and make the 08th Battlesuit Team
I know that ots a little shameless, but i need it for an essay.
I cant find in any of my sources, and some new ones I found in my way, for the Z Mazinger manga (1998)
What? Are you saying you want someone to give you a download link of Z Mazinger?
>>15556731
Yes, sorry for bad English, I only have a basic to intermediate level.
>>15556753
No worries. There are 3 volumes of Z Mazinger.
I have volumes 1 and 3, but for some reason I don't have volume 2.
I'll upload vol 1 and 3 for you right now. I'll try to find volume 2, but I can't guarantee anything.
So I've been thinking about this a lot. If it were Amuro vs. Kamille in the Gundam/Zeta who would win?
Would the outcome be the same if Kamille had just as much time with Zeta Gundam and MS in general as Amuro did? Or if say Amuro kept the original Gundam all the way through Zeta?
Kamille kills him since he's a more powerful newtype in a much more advanced mobile suit which has equipment installed to enable newtype hax
>>15556087
I tried my hardest to think up counter arguments but try as I might, I don't got shit
>>15556087
Neither of those things saved Lalah against Amuro. Yea, she didn't die specifically because Amuro was a better pilot, but he was able to handle her regardless of her being a stronger newtype with a better machine built for newtype hax. And having those advantages didn't exactly do any good for Kamille against Yazan, so trying to argue they're an automatic win is pointless.
I don't know if Amuro spent more time as a pilot in 0079 than Kamille did in Zeta, but he wasn't piloting a lot of the intervening years so I doubt there's much difference and Amuro is still a good pilot by Zeta regardless.
Even Tomino thinks Zeta is bad.
https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2002-12-12/a-short-talk-with-yoshiyuki-tomino
>>15555670
he's right
>>15555670
ANN should kill their editor and beat the translator, that was word soup.
Zeta is not canon
While IBO is one of the worst shows ever made, let's not forget how bad Zeta was. Not even Tomino likes it. But who could when the plot looks like it was written by a five years old.
>>15555656
I also agree
>>15555656
You spelled Outlaw Star wrong
>>15555656
Zeta is inarguably the pinnacle of the franchise, followed by 0079, Turn A and Reconguista in G not necessarily in that order.
