So far, Wing. I went in expecting dumb fun but was pissed off too much by the characters, trite politicking attempts, and lackluster battles to draw any real enjoyment from it. I finished it for the sake of it- in retrospect a bad idea.

It's a shame really. As many say the grunts are top notch but the actual battles against the main cast at least amount to very little IMO. They lacked charm or impact.

No worries. Check out the original Gundam series if you're looking into getting into wargaming it. As for what to use as a system, you could always take Mekton Zeta and use the Tactical Display rules for quicker combat.

I think Japan is in a good standing with CG right now, Kemono Friends and the BLAME movie, the new Godzilla movie, and ID-0. What really matters is how the writing holds up.

0079 was pretty nice in that Gihren got surprise headshotted from the back by Kycilia for killing their father, and then Kycilia in turn got headshotted by Char with a fucking laser bazooka.

0080 in general was so great that it's hard to say that the ending, out of everything else, was the best part of it. It wasn't exactly satisfying, but it was very fitting.

Victory was pretty good with showing Marbet pregnant and ready to raise her and Oliver's child, Katejina with the suffering, and the ending shot with the two Victory Gundams.

G's was pure fucking sex, I don't think I need to elaborate.

X gave literally everybody but the evil asshats leading the two sides a decently happy ending. I was happy with the Frost Bros surviving, given the context of the ending.

Turn A had one of the most majestic and beautiful endings I think I've seen out of all of the shows, I always almost tear up no matter how many times I re-watch it.

G-Reco's was pretty weird and kooky, like the rest of the show, I guess the most satisfying part of it was when Klim Nick had them ram his dad's podium with the ship.


All the rest of the endings vary from meh to utter shit.

Alright but overrated. The ending is what really sold the show, but that alone is not quite worth the issues of the 40+ episodes proceeding it.

I'm 20 episodes in but it's pretty meh so far. I like certain aspects of it, and I DO like the mecha design, but the show's way too slow and not a whole lot happens. I mean, all that really happened in the first 20 episodes is they sold some new model kits, some people died, more people learned about Kudelia's goals, and they made it to Earth, which in a normal Gundam show would take 5 episodes, not 20.

There's no way you think it was good if you have seen a single Gundam show before it
