I think Geed is an experiment to test that question. Riku represents Belial as he was before being corrupted, basically.

I don't know if it's just because Orb's opening was so great (granted using Ichiro Mizuki is kinda cheating) or what, but Geed's is kind of underwhelming in comparison.

Setsuna was legit a wetrag -- absolutely no personality -- compared to any other protagonist. /m/ loves him but literally no where else does. And you legitimately cannot claim Kamille has a good personality. He's rude, abrasive, full of himself, and hits people. He's an asshole through and through and people don't like that. It makes for good character development, sure, but it's not a good personality.

The Flag is pretty sweet. Grunt units in Gundam always have a good odds of looking bad-ass.
