>I don't remember the first PSP game's story and never cleared the second but the story seems mostly original and just using the characters. Takes place after A's and before Strikers so not parallel stuff like the games (Reinforce 1 is still dead)
>Nanoha, Hayate and Vita now have beam cannons. Not their usual stuff transforming but straight up beam cannons. Nanoha also has two shield funnels though they're kind of just there and don't do anything cool.
>Decent action throughout but the film unfortunately never comes ANYWHERE close to the best parts of the previous movies. Especially noticeable given how the first Nanoha VS Fate (training) fight is in the same sunken city as in their showdown in the first movie. Of course this is only the first half of one story so they're probably saving good stuff for later. Unimpressive SLB though.

Ok, so i've been wondering about this for a while but don't know why I didn't just ask before.
What's the whole deal with Cybuster and Cybaster.
So we got an anime called Cybaster (which is just the japanese pronunciation for Cybuster), but after that we get the Cybuster in SWR brander as an original unit, even appearing in the OG games.
Both have very similar designs and even the Cybuster's pilot, Masaki Andoh, is named after Masaki Endoh who sings the opening for the Cybaster anime. Why was it branded as an OG instead of just placing it like other mechas? Was there copyright issues? Should I take them as separate mecha?
tl;dr why are there two Cybuster?

Anime Cybuster and SRW Cybuster are not the same thing. The whole story is different. Also, the Masoukishin in Panzer Warfare are replicas, not the real deal.

Yes, Dragonar is the "good written" Gundam show, but this also rids it of absolutely astonishing autistic characters or Tomino horrendously entertaining directing skills.
Half of the fun watching any Tomino show is not knowing what the fuck is gonna happen in the next scene.
So if you rob it of that "so bad it's good" aspect, you left with ok show, which isn't really all that memorable.
At least 0083 had carrots and SOLOMON.
Though I wouldn't mind seeing a remake of Dragonar with the same 80s humour aesthetic.

Dragonar is Gundam done right. A pitty though that it suffers tremendously in the animation department (nothing like the gorgeous opening and ending sequences). The music is good and the character designs are way better than those of Gundam.
I like Dragonar and wish it had eclipsed Gundam once and for all. Dragonar is THE quintessential 1980s mecha anime. Much more than Gundam that seems forever anchored in the 1970s tropes even after 4 full fucking decades since that era.
