I'm new to /lit so I I just want some opinions on this shitty and sappy poem I got the inspiration to write. I'm not too concerned about someone stealing it.

I really used to dread the future.
But now that we're together, it doesn't seem so bad.

I thought I'd be dead in the next five years. But now it seems like a distant end.

I never thought I could go anywhere I pleased.
But you take me to far away places without leaving the house.

I assumed life was just achieving one thing and moving on to the next.
But I see that's it's whatever you make of it.

I love you with all my want and being
And I will try so hard for you.
