Have you ever made a major life decision based on a novel or writer's experience?
I can't decide whether to marry my gf, leaning toward breaking up in order to avoid domestic life and pursue my curiosities freely. but then I think about kierkegaard and how he tormented himself, having to basically invent a philosophy to deal with dumping regine. and that I will probably just be a miserable, no-name pleb and kill myself.
pic related, charles darwin's notes on marrying vs. not marrying.
>object to be beloved & played with. — better than a dog anyhow.
>terrible loss of time
