It's an amusing book of history vulgarisation. Don't let boring fucks put you off this book.

(Didn't learn much by reading it, but some of the "lessons" were presented in an interesting manner--it's so outrageously cynical it made me laugh.)

it's not even edgy, I read it in like 9th grade and had a great time reading all the amusing historical and fictional anecdotes, quotes, and animal fables

it's just fun, and far less cynical and assholish than any given 4chan post so I find it quite odd that /lit/ seems to always deride it on that front

It seems like important knowledge. I am not a power seeking person myself, but you never know when you got to pull some sway. And knowing this kind of information will make you less susceptible to other people.
