It seems like love is a social construct. Partners get boring with time, and one is always on a look out for younger beauty.
Anyone have an input?
Women don't look out for younger beauty, only men do. Temporary love sure does exist, forver after love not so much.
But it sure feels good to have a best friend of the opposite sex that you can fuck
So what if it's a social construct?
You have to differentiate between a Real Social Construct and a Social Construction of Reality.
The first is things like money, or being late. That's a Real Social Construct. The latter is saying something like much harsher
to him, love is always a relation between property and proprietor - you love things because you enjoy love, not because you feel attached to them
as soon as you cease to enjoy love it's perfectly ok to drop the loved object, otherwise you're forming a semi-religious bond (he denounces the idea of family in the same way)
