Anyone wanna recommend a book to a "pleb"
I haven't read a book in like a month.
Huxley, Vonnegut, Dostojevski and Murakami are some writers whose work I enjoy
I'd be looking for something interesting yet not too challenging
Don't model your reading on the "Top 100" it's innacurate, and not a good start. If you want a list to pick things from, look at Bloom's Canon.
Pick up Chekhov's About Love & Other Stories (Translation by Bartlett); Readings in Classical Chinese Philosophy - Ivanhoe & Van Norden; The Golden Ass - Apuleius; and Medea & Other Plays - Euripedes.
Not saying the books on the top 100 are bad, it's just good to use multiple sources to find new books.
For easy-to-read, but good: try some of the Icelandic Sagas, such as The Saga of the Volsungs.
