btdigg is a search engine that searches names of torrents around the world as well as file names and metadata.

There are massive packs of books as well as plenty of retail shit (sometimes I think it browses private trackers that arent set up well)

Say bye to those eyes bby

yeah, it's not as confortable as an ebook, but I don't have to deal with format problems. also I have the bright settings low and stop if feel my eyes tired.
I was thinking between a tablet or an ebook and I don't think I took a bad decision

I use the IRC

I never know what people mean by this, unless they are using calibre to convert pdf to mobi, which does work if you crop pictures correctly.

one of the reasons I want an ebook was for reading academic papers. they usually come with graphics and some images. Calibre mess it all. this way was easier.

If thats the case an Ipad Air is the most ideal reading device in the world, especially if you are into non-fiction.

thanks for the advice, but I got a cheap (90€) asus, it's enough.

Is it that much better for reading than the iPad mini 2 I have?

I use my 5 for everything, but my wifes Air is clearly better, especially for PDFs. I know this isnt kosher with /g/ but I have never had a problem as a reader with an Ipad except for the battery life.

That said I read 95% of books on a kindle touch, and i am more likely to buy the book on thriftbooks than read it on pdf

>easy bookmarks
scrap paper, receipt, piece of string, a coin, a bent corner, paper you took notes on, etc. etc. etc

>easy marking
cannot possible be easier than pen/cil on literal paper

>jump to chapter
You mean like, opening up to a page?

>can read at night with out lamps
Just think of the money you will save on whale oil!

>don't have to carry heavy books
are you a background nerd in an 80's comedy? Is the weight of a few books giving you scoliosis or do you deal exclusively in the Arabic section of an Ivy library over-sized collection?
