some of us that are here because they really just enjoy literature don't frequent any other board.. we aren't 4chan users who happened to click over to the lit board bc we heard it was less shitty than the other ones, we are literature lovers.. any other answer will point you to the people filling the page up with frog memes or whatever the fuck kind of stupid shit it is you guys spam the board with
You better like Fellini or I'll call you gay
>and stuff that obviously isn't paranormal
>implying you're the one to judge
Ya man. Don't sell out to the establishment. We have to center all of our thoughts on one thing so that we can be Autistic neckbeards.
/fa/ between 2011-2013, but they're so far behind now, it's ridiculous.
/X/ can be interesting, but it's mostly Roleplay
/diy/ if I'm bored and my eyes hurt from reading.
Favourite book, if I had to choose one, is probably The Pigeon, by Patrick Süskind.
kek. You'd probably have better feedback if you posted a coffee table book about coffee tables on /lit/
You guys are fuckheads fwiw. There are plenty of people who know how to cook on /ck/, if only certain things, kinda like how there are people on /lit/ who actually know what they're talking about or who have something interesting to say.
Go on /ck/ next time you're cooking something and ask them how you should do it. I guarantee that you'll get a few people who put effort into their responses.
The best coffee I ever had was a single origin from Northern Queensland, Australia, I shit you not. Runner up, would probably be a Guatemalan or an Ethiopian.
> south american coffee lords
if they told you this in ground/beans as an alternative to maxwell/nescafe
they were right. common enough, fairtrade if you care about that shit, not too pricey, and it takes like fucking chocolate if chocolate were better by being made of coffee. worth being haunted by incan warlords/10
I used to work in a specialty coffeehouse around 7-8 years ago (before the hipsters got there, and it was just old rich Italian people) and the head barista brought back some coffee cherries from South America or something, which he Cold brewed for 12 hours. It was absolutely amazing, and the second the substance hit your tongue, it was like snorting a gram of cocaine. I used to drink 30-40 shots of espresso a day, six days a week for 3 years, and nothing compared to that first contact.
/hm/ /vr/ /r9k/ /qa/ and infrequently /g/
/qa/ strictly for shitposting at /pol/ crybabies who got modded one too many times, because it's tragically easy to piss them off.
/g/ infrequently, because it isn't as interesting with all the generals and obvious shilling that's taken over the board these days.
/r9k/ because it's a hilarious satire of /pol/.
And I don't actually frequent /lit/. Too many of you are pretentious pseudo-intellectual twats who believe this board is some kind of Internet intelligentsia that only the most refined patricians need apply to.
/lit/ and /mu/ for the rare chances at discussion, /x/ and /tg/ for the greentexts, /tv/ and /his/ for the perennial memeing, /pol/ and /r9k/ for stoned keks.
Oh, and /gif/, /s/ and /d/ for wanksies.
Book is, currently, Hilarotragoedia by Giorgio Manganelli.
Occasional /co/ & /ck/ but I don't have the habit and patience to filter out the 99.5% of shit, resp. burgers, on these boards.
A very rare shitpost on /sci/ if I'm feeling crabby.
Journey to the End of the Night.
/lit/ and /sci/
sometimes /tv/ and /fa/
/lit/, /his/ sometimes /tv/ for a laugh
