He hasn't written any literature so I wouldn't know
Tuf Voyaging is pretty good and the beginning of asoiaf series is good also. Too bad he has no idea where's hes going with that one and it'll keep him from writing anything else before he dies.
As great as ASOIAF is, it is definitely a cash cow and he is milking it for all it's worth.
>If I was really cynical, I would start up some kind of medieval sword and sorcery series, tell everyone it's a trilogy, and then write it for the rest of my life whenever I need a paycheck - George RR Martin, early 1980s.
That said, he is a very good writer and certainly significant to fantasy, sci fi, and to a lesser extent historical fiction. Fevre Dream is my favorite vampire story, and while I haven't read very much of his sci fi stuff the couple short stories I have are pretty good.
>Wears a chastity belt
He is the living embodiment of Reddit. R/ nice guy is flowing through his vains.
Mfw normie showfags will find out what happens in the Winds of Winter before me
He's written better works than /lit/ could ever hope to produce. His prose is shit but his characters and plots are entertaining enough. I'm glad I enjoy the show, his book purists are an autistic bunch
Not that guy but he is pretty cringeworthy
She was sopping wet when he entered her. “Damn you,” she said. “Damn you damn you damn you.” He sucked her nipples till she cried out half in pain and half in pleasure. Her cunt became the world.
Sunset found her squatting in the grass, groaning. Every stool was looser than the one before, and smelled fouler. By the time the moon came up she was shitting brown water. The more she drank, the more she shat, but the more she shat, the thirstier she grew, and her thirst sent her crawling to the stream to suck up more water.
