If you have hostility towards women, which I suspect you do, you'll never find a book with a woman as a protagonist engaging.

I am a woman. I have no hostility toward women. I was simply curious.

Go read Madame Bovary you fucking plebeian.
>>
>>7581046
But the best parts of Anna Karenina were Levin hunting with his dog or Vronsky being alpha as fuck.

No opinion on Madame Bovary because I haven't read it.

How about Terry Pratchett? The books about witches from the Discworld series. Equal Rites, Wyrd Sisters, Witches abroad, Lords and Ladies, Carpe Jugulum and I can't remember if there are more....also the later series about Tiffany Atching (Wee Free Men etc. It is aimed at a younger audience but I still liked it for what is tho, I gave the books to my younger sister for christmas) They are all awesome books.

actually Levin mowing was the best. anna was a fucking slutbag who didnt give a shit about her own offspring because she was such an insidious egotistical cunt.
>>
>>7582923
OP didn't want a book with a good female protag, OP wanted a good book with a female protag. Anna Karenina fits even tho Anna was a cunt.
