why are there no black hobbits?
he never specified that

I'm interested in studying about Internet's "society" under the topics of anthropology, sociology, psychology, political sciences and law.
Any recommendations on readings? I heard pretty well about Manuel Castells and was thinking about starting with him.
I heard that "Kill all Normies" by Angela Nagle was good

your post fuckin sucks "dude"
>tfw you finally realize that God is nothing but a subconscious hierarchy of morals imposed upon us by society
>tfw you realize that there is no underlying, objective morality and that life is ultimately pointless
I feel woke, lads. I spent 4 long years studying virtue through Plato, Aristotle, Epictetus, and The Holy Bible, but I finally feel free. I think I've reached the end game. What do I do now?

Reddit is leaking again.
Make sure that you actually do what you want to do with your life, whether you measure it on a short or long term basis.

What's the best drug to take for better reading?
for better immersion, focus, retainment, enjoyment
>>9852555
for me its alcohol
as a student i also read in bars whilst drinking a couple of pints
No drugs improve reading. Only self discipline. Pain is the great teacher, and all drugs in one way or another dull pain so that they can do nothing but set you back on the way of knowing. Drugs are however great for appreciating music, learning about yourself your depths and what your subconscious is saying. A long heroin addiction will eventually teach you much through much suffering. Alcohol can reveal your shadow to you. Cocaine can teach you about pleasure. MDMA is useful in learning to communicate emotionally and empathically. Drugs and reading just don't really work together. Ultimately you should do drugs and eventually stop doing them completely.

Adderall
Or, a bit of alcohol. Not together, and not too much booze.
Saw pic related in a thread a weeks ago and I was wondering if anyone had something similar for other language.
Also general language thread I suppose.
From an /int/ thread
2. If you reverse image search what you posted you can see the thread. There's an incomplete german one and one for turkish which /lit/ is probably not interested in.
In return, can somebody point me to free online resources for latin.
Japanese anyone, please?

John Gray's Black Mass reminds me of Voegelin on Political Religions
That's because those events were all orchestrated by the world's elite.

Yes they are and those who question are plebeans who should work the fields instead of reading.
YOU HEARD ME E-BOOK FAGS?! WORK THE FUCKING FIELDS! SUSTAIN MY LUXUARY FOR I AM YOUR LANDLORD!
Just arm yourselves with knowledge brothers

Let us discuss the current state of /lit/.
This is not a /lit/ hate thread, it is a thread to discuss the problems the board faces, and potential solutions to said problems.
What do you think is wrong with /lit/?
What do you think is going well with /lit/?
bugs... easy on the carrots

>What do you think is wrong with /lit/?
/pol/
>What do you think is going well with /lit/?
/pol/ seems to be deflating or something, less of it on here. I've had conversations about women writers without being interrupted for once
I actually think /lit/ is better than it was a year or so ago. The Catholic threads are back, which I feel brings up the overall quality of the board as long as they don't devolve into shitflinging. Also I notice that the mods have eased up on philosophy threads in the last year. Maybe they've realized /his/ is a trainwreck.

Is Leary's pre-acid stuff good?
When I was going crazy a wise psychologist recommended it to me...
My aunt gave me a copy of "Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance" and was really urging me to read it.
I'm on chapter 20 now and feeling confused if she wants me to empathize with the son or the dad. Then I got sad when she probably wanted me to identify with the son.
