Thinking of getting in to this series. I've heard so many mixed opinions. Red pill me on it?
Even for genre fiction it's awful.

>He thinks Literary Fiction isn't a genre
I purchased an old book at a Salvation Army today, and when I looked online to see if it was worth anything, I couldn't find it anywhere. I found the book, yes, but not the exact publisher.
The book I have was printed in India, to a company called Thacker & Co., LTD. On the inside of the book, there's writing from what I found to be a solider from WW2's writing, his army serial number, etc.on the inside. I assume he had to have bought it in India while there.
The book is called The Time for Decision by Sumner Welles, and it was published in 1944, first Indian Edition in 1944.
I need help finding out if there are any other books like mine, and if it's considered rare. Pic related, it's the spine, and the inside pages.
>it's old, I'm rich!
>do my work for me!!

What are some non-historical fantasy novels with asian flavor?
>>9893453

Should I go for this?
The Selected Works of Virginia Woolf (Wordsworth Library Collection) - hardback
It's cheap, but I can't see anything go wrong. I've checked it physically and the others of this edition (Poe, Fitzgerald etc.) and they were all normal looking, except the Shakespeare one (the font was too small and wasn't quality printed, it had some faintly printed letters, some more bold than others etc.)
I just want to know if it is not a hack in some way.
read to the lighthouse first

And this is relevant how?
>>9893353
is your head so deep inside your rectum that you need approval of a chinese-cartoon imageboard even though you checked it personally and didn't see anything wrong?
my friend has joyce's of this edition, it is fine but if I'm not wrong it was bible-thin paper.
How many books do you read each month?
>>9893341
Zero mostly
>>9893341
Between 3 and 1/4th of one, depending on the month
>>9893341
Two to six depending. Aim for 25 to 35 pages a day, and I rarely skip. Some days (usually weekends) I read 80 to 100 pages. That total is aside from my course textbooks, of course.
Hey. I'm new to /lit/, and I have a question. What exactly is genre fiction and why does everyone here hate it?
>>9893338
Lurk more faggot
>>9893338
Genre fiction is simply fiction that wants to appeal to the most amount of people by fitting into certain genres, usually what's popular at the time. You can figure it out from there.
>>9893338
this makes me sad
you tried fedoraboy, you tried
Have you ever literally judged a book by its cover?
Of course
>>9893171
/thread
Yes.
I saw this book from Wordsworth and said to myself if no same person even bothered to check the cover of this book then it must be a book already validated to be a must read which doesn't need to deal with additional creativity.
I was right.
Am I a Faggot for buying pic related?
>Never been in to long running fantasy series
>Never read any book series that ran longer than 3 books
>Always considered sprawling epics to be modern trash
>Expecting nothing
>Anyone well versed in this series?
>What am I in for?

It's fun pulpy sci fi. If that shit makes you mad, you won't like it. If it doesn't, you'll probably enjoy it.

Jung's red book is water and I am wet, this is the ocean. I feel almost ready. about to confess my whole life on paper and scream to my soul after every sun set(have prepared with 1000s hrs of serious meditation and general alignment with emptiness over the passed year). but that aside.
Anyone have any technes for dealing with fear? Recently I've been walking midnight walks in the semi-forest near my house. But always when the voices and images come, I recoil back into my previous stupidity... :/
Recount you fears, write them down, bring them to life, come face to face with your shadow, slay the dragon.
Bruh, there's an objective and a subjective side to any one experience for a reason.
Work at them fears taking that into account so they don't overpower you from the neglected side of your focus (phone almost said soul's purpose. Huh.)
tl;dr Balance that shit out.

Does anyone have any book recommendations that personally improved their lives. I am looking for a book that will make me less insecure, more sociable, more authentic, more conversational, less anxious.
Here's a book I found helpful.

Can anyone give me a link on a pdf of the book in the description? I would be extremely grateful!
>>9892768
I saw someone on another thread mention downloads of practice tests. I was wondering if someone had PDFs of those so I could text a few tests myself before the actual LSAT.
>go to lsac.org
>set up an account
>that's all you do
They prep resources and practice tests, and you register for the LSAT through them.

Are most forms of political ideologies and movements moot because the self, "groups", "culture" and oppression are illusions?

I'm redpilled and proud to call myself a white nationalist.
What is with all the buddhaposting today? Buddhism was used as a political tool many times throughout its history. Even if the self is an illusion, it's one we're stuck with. Might as well use it.
