How do you keep track of your notes, when your purpose is self learning?
Hey /lit/ I dont remember which author/politician this idea came from and I need your help.
The passage/quote goes something like "A good man will give his life for his country, a greater man is willing to sacrifice his soul".
I heard it referenced in some Slob-o(*snifffff*) lecture once, but I cant find it now.
The idea was pretty much that an individual has a chance for redemption however a nation does not, so foreign affairs have a different moral code than morals that govern conduct within that nation.

Any suggestions for good True Crime, in the style of Homicide by David Simon? Recently re read it i like his kind of hard-boiled style. I like True crime but have only read In Cold Blood and a few others. Most of them like that book about Ted Bundy are kind of trashy and not interesting. Any suggestions?
