Do any /lit/izens write in the LitRPG genre? If so, is there much of a market for it? And is it easy to publish a novel of that genre?
Hi /lit/, I'm buying books and wondering what you think
Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami
The Everlasting Man by G. K. Chesterton
Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace
A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy
I have room in my budget, what do you recommend

I know next to nothing about language(s) but I'm half way through Through the Language Glass by Guy Deutscher and I'm really enjoying it.

We rarely discuss literature on here.

Ocean Vuong seems to be giving an excuse for the craft of writing, poetry specifically, by presenting what is clearly an essay cut up into what we register as a poem. So that seems to go along with the opening theme that "words" can be hampered by their "langauge," in much the same way the individual is by society. But, without these forms, there is no correspondence anyway. This chopped up essay poem form then gives us an out, a way to chop and pick apart society, at least the society we have access to changing, into something suitable for our expression.
