You'd better read something that broadens your set of skills that you use everyday. But maybe you just want to belong to The Club.
I myself recommend an anatomy book, you never know when there will be a need to stab someone or describe your ache to the doctor.

I read 19Q4 and couldn't stand it. Like a lot of modern Japanese authors he's more style than substance. If you like him that's great, at least you're enjoying one more thing than I am.

A Latin grammar book. Then all English books.

Seriously, learning another language will teach you a lot about English grammar, and what is what, and what should go where. Then just read the best English authors, and imitate their style.
