I'm looking for pro-fascist or fascist-neutral books. Any recommendations of books or authors that are informative about the subject?
Evola, Rene Guenon and Spengler are a few

Evola seems great. Are there any good books specifically? I'm looking for books that sort of lay out what fascism is in its respective country.
How do you think Trump has or has not lived up to Machiavelli's model for a successful leader?
>>9076154
Trump? More like Drumpf xD
>>9076154
Awful. He has no understanding of state craft and his press secretary isn't helping.
>>9076154
You do realize Machiavelli wasn't being serious when he wrote The Prince, OP?

I want to write a 500-1000 word story.
Give me a prompt. Be as challenging as you want. Preferences would be sci-fi, fantasy, humor, or horror, but I'm open to anything.

Write a story about a wizard who can use his powers to make people see things that aren't real and how he uses it to get revenge on the man who raped him
>thinks Plato, Hume and Kant had reasonable theories about substance
>thinks the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist is unreasonable
If this describes you, you are an inconsistent fedoralord
I read "Hume" as "Harambe" lol
It is unreasonable, as it depends upon a communication of divine attributes to Christ's human nature to the degree that he is rendered non-human. If a "human body" is non-finite and essentially omnipresent, then it isn't a body and it isn't human. There are better ways of understanding the Eucharist.

Does /lit/ enjoy the historical works of Gore Vidal?
What are the greatest works of historical fiction?
Creation was dope.
Vidal was an arrogant asshole

Alright /lit/, honest opinion on this guy?

Thoughts on his work? Does he have any "bad" books? I was thinking of reading his work chronologically, is that a good idea? It not always is.
>>9075351
Everything I've read has been solid so far
I'd say if you want an intro on his works starts with something simple and small like no country for old men or the road, then move on to things like suttree, blood meridian (his best by far), the borders trilogy, etc
Who else can't wait for The Passenger? If it lives up to hype it's gonna be up there with his best.
Also you guys should all read the 1985 (?) New York Times interview with him, so many biographical details that are just so fucking based. Guy decided his life's job was to never work and my god he might be one of the only few to ever succeed.

Thanks bro I'll look it up
