Basically look for a SERM (a SELECTIVE Estrogen Receptor Modulator) that is an agonist in all tissues, including bone (important! that will protect you from osteoporosis), BUT an antagonist in breast tissue.
both raloxifene and tamoxifen are used in hormonal treatment of breast cancer. the former, endometrial too but we don't have... womb linings so...

what are the downsides of SERMs? the price, and that they probably don't have the same beneficial effects to your mood and libido that normal sex hormones do. oh, and as with most estrogen supplements an increased risk in thromboembolic events.

the upsides though are it prevents boob growth while enhancing the feminizing aspects of whatever anti-androgen you're on, while protecting bone mineral density so you can stay on both full-time.

so with trans hrt i'm aware that both the AAs and estrogens used work along your hypothalamic–pituitary–gonadal axis to suppress endogenous sex hormone production.
it works through AAs like spiro and cypro loading progestogen receptors, estrogens like estradiol loading estrogen receptors, and... i don't know much about bicalutamide and whether it loads androgen receptors in the same way, but in doing so it triggers the HPG axis' feedback loop to stop releasing gonadotropin releasing hormones. no GnR Hormones, no sex hormones being created by your gonads.

now, i don't know what femgen does to promote natural estrogen but i'd assume it works by promoting aromatase to convert your endogenous testosterone into estrogen more efficiently. so if you're using AAs, you're already harming your endogenous estrogen which is why AAs on their own put you at risk of osteoporosis.
this is in contrast to pct stacks which often use an anti-aromatase to stop that from happening.

so yes, raloxifene might suppress your endogenous estrogen-via-testosterone production but i don't think it's a bad thing for your purposes. raloxifene is a weak agonist in most tissue still, and with your test cut that still equals some feminization.

also you could do what i wanna do and cycle between estradiol and raloxifene as needed.

iunno i'm not an endocrinologist am i, i just teach myself all of this online. i have a fairly good conceptual grip of the mechanism of action of a lot of these drugs as well as the implications of combining them, but as for dosage and duration? not a clue.
although PERSONALLY i would advise against taking both raloxifene and estradiol at the same time as both increase the risk of thromboembolic events. imo it would be a lot safer to take only one (estradiol) most of the time, then switch to the other (raloxifene) on its own as and when you need to nip any gyno in the (breast) buds, given that you can find studies showing raloxifene's efficacy in this area.
so no. to stop you getting DVT and pulmonary embolisms, don't combine them. err on the side of caution.

simple reason, i've done lots of reading up on DIY'ing HRT because breast cancer runs in my family. ergo while i do identify as trans and would like to physically transition as much as possible, i don't feel it's worth the breast cancer risk for me to grow small, deformed tits with a cleavage parting them like the red sea.
