most of my gay friends won't stfu about sex

lesbians and FTMs do not seem to be so bent on sex

also though, sex rules, and physical affection before, after, and during sex is a hugely important part of life

Not really surprising considering how Transexuals are the least socially accepted of the LGBT. And also easily the most high maintenance.

Trans people need an outlet for discussion, advice, information, etc. more than gays and lesbians do. You have to go through a life risking transition as a transexual, gays just need to kiss cute boys.

Not to mention there are two very different kinds of transexuals. People love to forget FTMs exist, which might be to their benefit.

Well, when you have a group of people that have nothing going for them but to use their sexualities as their define identity then it's bound to happen. Personally I usually drop in this board once in awhile, browse all the same, angst filled threads, and reaffirm why I'm bi and not full on gay.
