So it's been a past one year since I decided to come out as a MtF trans, I was very androginous all of my life and I don't know if I wanna take hormones; I hear a lot of mixed things about them in forums, are they safe?

you're gonna be in a serious bodily shit storm soon if you don't get on that soon. This is assuming you're 100% sure you're trans. Getting on them if you wanna stay androgynous is probably a good idea too :/

They are completely safe as long as you are getting regular blood tests.

Estradiol (especially as you move from a low/negligible concentration to a high one) can precipitate deep vein thrombosis. Being young, exercising regularly, and slowly increasing your dose rather than starting at a high one are all great ways to prevent this. Do not take premarin, as it has many other chemicals to take into account, and is less effective mg for mg than bio-identical estradiol.
All anti-androgens available to adults have a host of risks that need to be gotten into individually.
The whole package puts you at heightened risk of developing breast cancer (vs. a male), and reduced risk of developing prostate cancer (vs. a male).
If you get blood tests and medical backup, the actual risks are negligible.

There's no mixed things about HRT, stop listening to the hons on Susan's. Bioidenticals are good and safe for you.

You're not trans, you're just some dumb crossdresser. Have fun aging as a man.
