i really hope it works out, the guidelines for care say it should but so few GPs know anything about trans stuff. There is talk that while the budget to gender clinics is going to be increased, as a non-frontline service it will also be cut, and won't even cover the increased number of referrals clinics have been getting in recent years. As a result, the GP training on trans health is intended to be upscaled massively so GPs should be prescribing mones more readily in the future. Hopefully. Fingers crossed.
