This is actually the first time I'll be really meeting some people that aren't straight. I've grown up in an awfully conservative/christian environment and need to meet new people.
Anyone else go to their G/SA? Anything I should be aware of? Obviously not all are alike but I'd like some help going in. I'm a frightened child.

I tried going to some LGBTQ+ event at my university and just felt really out of place.
Everyone was extremely extroverted with really bubbly personalities and i was just kind of shy and introverted.
I spent the day drinking coffee and eating donuts by myself, listened to a couple lecturers speeches and decided to leave early since I clearly didn't belong there lol
Try not to get molested or taught that you can only express homosexuality by being a huge slut.
Also read lots of /pol/.

it will be dominated by snide narcissistic faggots who will give you the stink eye if you're not someone they want to fuck. there are no straight people because there are no allies, and there is no help because it's just Billy's or Jamie's opportunity to hold court
just kill yourself now and save yourself the trouble
