I need help. If this should be posted on /adv/ just tell me and I will post it there.
Getting to the point, I've been dating a guy for almost a year now. He loves me a lot and he shows it to me daily even in small ways. He's a catch as well, cute, intelligent and funny. The problem lies with his friends and family. They still won't accept him for dating a trans. His family is traditional and yes we are both Asian. They want him to have a child and all that to which I cannot give.
Lately, I find him just staring blankly and when I ask him why, he just says everything's fine. He keeps on saying that they will accept me in the future but I feel they won't. I'm starting to feel that I am a big burden to him especially since he is the one who will inherit their family business.
What should I do now? I'm starting to think that we should end it sooner rather than later even though I will be totally devastated when he's gone.
Anyhow thanks and hope you can help...
Are you retarded, why in the hell would you two break up...

Doing shit to please your family when you don't want to is pretty much a mistake. Every azn I know who has rejected that whole thing (sydney here, went to a selective public school, know a LOT of asians) is pretty much happy with their choices, every azn still living by familial expectations is more robot with each passing year.
