Yes, stuff is stuff and stuff should be able to be enjoyed by anyone in any manner. But if a certain thing is viewed by the society you live in as being closely tied to a gender you don't identify with (regardless if your trans or cis or what-the-fuck-have-you) don't be surprised if people start to view your gender as the gender that's tied to those things.
