when leelah alcorn died i (and a friend of mine, also a trans guy and a channer) was the one who did everything to spread it -- contacted news organizations, spread her suicide note on reddit and tumblr and alerted people as to what had happened, made a whole blog about the thing, built up her wikipedia article, etc
it was my great contribution to the trans community, a community that all things considered does not need great contributions, and the blog i made on the topic eventually died horribly because people were telling me to kill myself for thinking you needed dysphoria to be trans which was particularly bad in the midst of a psychotic break, but at least i saw obama talk about how we needed leelah's law and thought 'i did this'
nice to see the, uh, legacy is still being fucked every which way by a completely undeserving community

I'm a girl and I've always been attracted to guys and considered myself straight. I've dated and had sex with guys before and generally enjoyed it. I have no problem with homosexuality and fully support gay rights. I just never thought I was anything but straight.
However, I've recently been crushing hard on my female coworker. She's not feminine, but not exactly butch either, sort of a mix of both. She's pretty and has long hair, but she dresses and acts more male. She's also tall and in really good shape, to the point of being built more like a guy.
She's openly gay and flirts with me (and other girls we work with) all the time. I thought she was weird at first, but after getting used to her I quickly started to get feelings for her and it's gotten pretty intense.
I've even dreamed about her before and recently I dreamed about having sex with her. I used to be disgusted by lesbian sex and I woke up feeling ashamed. But I can't ignore the fact that I'm obviously into her.
I would gladly date her, labels be damned, but she has a gf so I can't even try. I don't feel this way about any other girls, but I don't like any guys right now either, only her. What does this make me? What should I do?

Okay, legbutts. I'm trying to figure out a way to take the fight to TERFs in a way that doesn't support their misguided victim narrative. They're a cancer on the internet that is trying to metastasize, and the more I dig into this particular rabbit hole, the more I realize that these women are just snarky clique bitches from highschool that got pregnant, got married, and took out their rage of their own failed life on the world through their own narrow as fuck lens from the comfort of their patriarchally approved position as lazy homestay mother.

There's no way.
