Is transitioning doomed to fail, /lgbt/? Look at Caitlyn Jenner. By any serious measurement, she should pass but if you look at any of her pictures, you know that she doesn't.

Why is this? I'd say it's the uncanny valley, but how can a trans person beat that? If they don't try to pass, then they don't, but if they try too hard then they'll get Valley'd. It's almost as if it's doomed to fail.
